Well guys, I am hoping that it is true that from 2014 and beyond you can use rosters where you wont have to keep re-creating them year after year is this true? Anyway I gathered all the information from the 1987 season from the MLB through single A so I am going to recreate them again this year, give me plenty of time I do have a family now so that takes a bit of time. But one advantage is this year you can edit potentials so I wont have to keep importing players which is a major plus. For the MLB I will be using Jimbo's editor, and OOTP 15 for ratings plus I have a spread sheet for all the minor leagues that actually has a drop down where I can get all their information and ratings so this will make it go a bit smoother. Just have to put a little more info in my spreadsheet and I can start creating.

Re: 1987 90 man roster with correct vitals
The 2011 version we used generic players to fill the Rays, Rockies, D-Back and the marlins that worked out pretty good. For the Free agents I used players who called it quits in 1985-1986 I will probably do it the same way this year, any suggestions?Comment

Re: 1987 90 man roster with correct vitals
Yeah that is true about the "Major League" movie I loved the way he did that. and yeah the part I like the best is not importing and exporting players constantly. Editing the potentials has been a god send and honestly that reason right there is the reason I am doing this because it literally took days to import and export. with the way the editing process goes now it wont take to awful long since I have all the info I need for it right now. I will keep you all posted on my progress.Comment

Re: 1987 90 man roster with correct vitals
Okay this may be dumb but once a franchise file is created or just a roster file? I have a PS4 are these automatically turned into cloud saves? I was under the impression roster is uploaded to vault roster can be downloaded from vault in 2015 and so on? Please someone help me out hereComment

As far as I know the only thing that can be slapped on to 15 is a RTTS/Franchise/Season mode save file from cloud.
But again I have not got an answer to your question about the roster vaults. Knight would know the answer if anyone knows. Now Playing on PS5:

Re: 1987 90 man roster with correct vitals
As far as I understand it, you can save game modes (not settings/rosters) to the cloud for use spanning yearly releases of the game. In this case, what I would suggest to do (if multiple cloud saves are available) is download this roster once it is created and placed in the vault. Then create a franchise mode and immediately save it to the cloud before doing anything. Then create a new save and proceed to continue playing as you wish saving to the cloud right before you decide to pick up MLB 15 the show. This way (as long as 2 cloud saves are available) you have the option to continue playing where you left off, or start over with the same rosters each year a new game is released. This eliminates the need for these rosters to be uploaded to the vault yearly! Once we get them, we can have them forever!Comment
