Re: 2012 OSFM: Seattle Mariners
A couple of interesting articles about Erasmo Ramirez:

Link 2
The problem is, having this much movement makes him have a higher OVR, from my understanding of the article, his command isn't that good, he just throws a high number of strikes a la Pineda. primary and secondary pitch command could probably stay the same, but the rest, especially the curveball, have average command.
Edit:
OK from my understanding, he does have plus command, I'm not sure on how to make him not as good then lol. I'm revising my movement formulas for the pitch corrections thread, which would give erasmo's curve ~44 movement instead of 70, but that alone won't make him have a less OVR - plus, having it at 70 movement is visually similar to his curve in real life
Edit #2:
OK I've been looking at the f/x data from this spring and comparing it to last year - it seems like the peoria camera is miscalibrated ~4-5 inches to the left; that would solve the mystery behind Erasmo's shuuto and Snow's screwball lolLast edited by seanjeezy; 03-26-2012, 04:13 PM.Bakin' soda, I got bakin' sodaComment

RFB: 48
2SFB: 61
CIR: 79
CB: 72
SL: 9
Honestly it doesn't matter much at this point, the camera could've been off 5-7 inches, so just give him whatever seems right, once he gets more pro data this whole thing will be sorted out any way
Edit:
Zito's pitches were about 7 inches off from last year, so I think for that night only the camera was ~7in off...Last edited by seanjeezy; 03-26-2012, 05:35 PM.Bakin' soda, I got bakin' sodaComment

Hey guys is Ackley going to have his beard in the set?
I remember last year we had Brendad Ryan in stirrups and a pedo moustache.
That was annoying but it couldn't be edited out.
I guess since Ackley is a "photo player" this year he can't be edited for facial hair?Take one pass it on

Re: 2012 OSFM: Seattle Mariners
Is everything finalized R&S? I was still planning on doing a couple more faces but I got caught up with the pitch edits thing. If you already submitted everything to Knight, I could just vault whoever I decide to do if anyone's interested, or not, lolit doesn't matter to me I planned on doing every minor leaguers face for my own franchise anyway

Yea, I sent it over to knight. If you vault them just let knight know and I bet he'll check em out. Or I'll just import them when I'm doing the equipment edits.Cosmetic Guides to the Show v2 Rosters
