Oh and good luck. I did a '94-'96 roster a couple of years ago just for myself and rosters are a huge job. Hope your enjoying yourself!

what are you doing with Arizona and Tampa Bay?

seems pointless to not include them, though you would have to do 1998

seems anything pre 1998 is not utilizing the full potential and is leaving out two entire fan bases (me included, Arizona fan, yes we exist )

Definitely true. Hopefully these turn into a 1998 or later roster

I can understand where you're coming from with ARZ and TB from a fan standpoint.

I decided to do what the 87,89, 91, etc... rosters makers of the past have done and just go a generic route.

Arizona will have players that are not based on any real life MLB athletes. Same as Tampa does.

The reason I won't put the 98 teams with the 96 set is because of duplicate players and just because it throw the feel of the whole thing off.

On a side note, you have done a great job with your players in the vault. I don't remember which ones I used, but I did download a few for my NL teams. Very impressive.

Honestly man, I have no idea right now. I'm not saying this to be a jackass or anything, but if you are really familiar with his pitching motion, and mine is way off, please change it. I can't promise all the windups are accurate since video footage is either too much trouble to sort through or non-existent.

Thanks. It has its moments where it can be either fun or work, but I am such a fan of the 96 season that this is mostly fun.

can't wait! looking forward to this, btw, I think you should keep the real Mariano in the game because of the number 42, if you recreate him, the game will automatically put him as number 43

I think you can change his age in the player edit screen but I think thats the only jersey bug you will enounter for the Yankees

I don't believe you can change the age on current players, but I will have to double check that.

Keeping just one player in the game now would look pretty strange, especially if you can't change the age.

It kind of comes down to if you want the number or the age correct.

                        Its going man.

I have been busier with work lately and just finished off a monster deal today. I have a few things to wrap up in the next few days but I will keep chipping away at the remaining teams.

Officially there is only the Expos, Giants, Brewers, Cubs, Phillies, Astros and Pirates left.

Still looking for a mid to late May release.

Cubs are now done. I still have the remaining teams to do and then I will be going back and adding either 1 or 2 RP's to each team so I have a full pitching staff. Might take a little longer, but without doing so Franchise play will not be as good.

                            Giants are also halfway finished.

It's going better. I have a renewed sense of urgency so things have been going by smoother.

Since I last posted, here is what I have left.

                                Astro's pitchers.

                                Brewers teeam.

                                Pirates team.

                                Giants pitchers.

I have also completely rerated every pitchers speed differential so it is more realistic. There shouldn't be any more 94mph fastballs coming at you only to be followed up by a 78 mph change.

I also have eliminated every free agent player and any other player by importing a generic in their spot. This will make the rosters ready for franchise play without any worries of current free agents or players being signed/traded during the year.

I want to finish the Astro's tonight, and maybe even the Giants.

After the teams are finished I just need to add one or two more RP's to each team and the set will be complete.
