I may move Jones eventually. The first year I'll prob sign a few more guys to "minor league deals" Maybe give a guy like scott kazmir a chace to make the team. Then come the deadline, do what the O's need to do and rebuild rebuild rebuild

yeah we gotta rebuild the pitching. it starts with bundy and moves from there he will be our ace. hopefully matusz and tillman can improve. I might actually trade them both for some prospects. or at least one of them. Jake will start as my #1 guy so i might need to up if stats if they dont make him number 1 on the master roster. it kinda hurt how they made JJ a D potential on the SCEA roster that made me want to cry haha. So I will have to look for a closer.

Funny how different people play their franchise. I never trade or move anyone that hasn't been moved in real life... basically I follow the transactions and do what the real team does.

What franchise you playing with? I know the O's aren't "your" team. But are you inclined to play them since you put so much effort/work into them?

I can see that people talking about rebuilding don't play all 162 games. I do so there is no way I would dump all those quality players trying to rebuild while playing all 162.

Definitely am playing with them. Doing this has familiarized me with the farm system, and I'm now rooting for the guys in real life. Love watching Orioles games with Gary Thorne.

I'm with you. I'll likely call some of the better prospects up in September, even if the Orioles don't...slight divergences with real life, and may put some on if I make it past the first season playing as many games as I hope to. No way do I dump all the current regulars.

For some reason embedding isn't working for me, so here's the link to a small preview of the top three prospects: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_4iHHAF2aM

Something about my Machado is bugging me... think I may rework a few things with his face when they get the main roster out. He was an awkward one to do, looks different in so many shots.

They tried him there a bit the last couple spring trainings. He did fine - he's a pretty athletic guy.

Arrieta named OD starter. Flaherty was told he made the team.

He has to stay with the club the whole year or he returns to the Cubs. Solid utility man.

I'm glad Flaherty made the team I think he will be a good utility player.

Looks like the position players are just about set.
