Thanks man, that's the Manny Machado I put in the vault.

Over/under on Nick Johnson... 90 games?

IMO under, if Betamit is solid, over if Betamit and Reimold both struggle. If that makes sense.

Johnson with the injury history is so frustrating...great approach at the plate from day one, excellent discipline, ability to hit for average and power. Looked sharp every game I seen in Spring.

If it all comes together, the Orioles will outhit most teams in the league. The pitching is just terrible. So many holes.

A little off topic, but I'm not buying into the Rays like everyone else seems to be.

I love the Rays, the give me faith that the O's can go to a world series despite playing in the East. That said probably 4-5 years from a run.

Johnson is a solid veteran bat that will get his ABs with this club they need to replace "Cool hand" Luke Scott hey could be the guy by mid-season. Don't even need power with this line up. Guys will get on base, just need a bat to bring them home.

I'd go under as well. Especially with his injury history.

I go under for Johnson unless someone gets hurt or betamit just doesnt do well. And I agree about the line up not needing a lot of power. its there its just a matter of us getting on base and timely hitting.

Excellent work! Thank you so much for the hard work!

To each their own, but I thought the set had too many young players as opposed to what the actual rosters will be for AAA and AA. True most or all of these missing guys are AAAA players, but if you're pitching in AAA there's a good chance you could see time in the bigs this year which is important to me. I swapped out some really young players for guys like John Hester (starting catcher at Norfolk, mlb experience), Jon Link (mlb experience), Chris George, Miguel Socolovich, and Oscar Villarreal(mlb experience). I'm in no way trying to criticize the work done at all, I was just making a suggestion incase an update comes around in the coming weeks. The O's have also received minor leaguers Jamie Hoffman (OF from COL) and Chris Robinson (C from CHC) for cash or waiver claims.

I did go prospect heavy, I felt that was the way to go.

Career minor leaguers don't interest me too much personally, and the vibe from the guys here was on the prospects.

The Orioles being a rebuilding franchise may end up relying on the young guys sooner than later. There's a greater possibility of a younger player having an impact on the big league club at some point, whereas the career minor leaguers are very interchangeable and many bounce from organization to organization. It'd be a greater crime to leave off some young guy who blows through the system than some guy with limited upside who won't make all that big of a difference in Baltimore.

For a contending club, those AAAA guys are a bit more useful, plug in bats or bench guys. That being said, there were a fair amount of tweeners included, guys in their mid to late 20s who could yet become major league contributors at some point.

Good points for sure. For me I rarely get deep enough into my franchises to have 19 and 20 year olds become relevant for me at some point which is why I enjoy more of the AAAA guys. To each their own for sure, but I'm still grateful for all the hard work!

Everyone's approach is different, some even sim through the first couple of seasons just to get to the prospects.

Like you, I barely get through the full season, but I love knowing that all the young players are down there in the minors for me to use in minor league games, or call up if they do get pushed through in real life.

Our O's looked pretty dang good. Patton needs to rebound quickly. Jake looked damn good. Reynolds didn't make a error! Davis saved him though lol. Kakis had a great game. Just a good game overall gives me some hope.

How good did Arrieta look today. Fastball at 96 with plenty of life, breaking ball was just filthy.
