Incidentally, is there a fix to prevent uniform number shuffling in season mode? Once you could send the player down, switch it and recall the player and it would stick. Is this still valid?Pitching, defense and 2 out RBIs win a lot of ball games!

Re: OS All-Time Classic Roster (The Show '12)
Spit_Bubble figured out how to do it last year. I tried it and got it work as well, I haven't tried it on '12 yet, but I'm guessing it works. If you check the spreadsheet, I'm adding the correct player numbers to help with that fix.Comment

Re: OS All-Time Classic Roster (The Show '12)
The constant problem I have with retired numbers is Duke Snyder always goes from 4 to 5, and Cal Ripken from 8 to 13. Does anyone have a solution?Comment

Re: OS All-Time Classic Roster (The Show '12)
Wow, I miss a few days cause of a family issue and I come back to it being just about done!!! Awesome job PJ, Scooter, Maize, and everyone else!!! I have time today and tomorrow, what can I do to help finish them up? Sorry about going missing, but didn't look like I was really missed. Well done!
Let me know what you are thinking about the 40-man roster, because I am happy to create more players for it. I am going to be tweaking this roster just a bit to add a few of my personal favorites, happy to share with all.
Seems like there was a pretty big following here, wonder if there is enough interest to get a small league going if people would be interested. I usually don't play in online leagues but seems like there is enough of like-minded dedicated people here that it could be just a fun, not serious, take our time kinda thing to have with everyone taking their favorite teams.Last edited by ohdannyboy12; 06-14-2012, 12:17 PM.Comment

Re: OS All-Time Classic Roster (The Show '12)
Alrighty, the 25 man rosters are done! Big ups to everyone involved in the project. So here is what is included:
-25 of the greatest players from each team.
-Each player has their correct face, stance, delivery, equipment, and correct uniform number. These are made by some of the best facemakers on this forum/vault.
-Players career stats were added by myself, using a formula I've been using the last few years.
-Every pitcher has correct pitches from the Neyer/James book
-Fangraphs was used for more current pitchers (proper pitch speed)
-40 man rosters are set to the 25 players listed. If you do a season, only these 25 players for each team will be used. No one else can be called up. If you want to change out a player, simply add them to the 40 man roster.
-If the player is yellowed out on the 40 man roster (page 1), that player is also ready for use. Plenty of extra players are on this roster, but are not completed.
-When starting a season, players with identical #'s (Jimmy Foxx, Eric Chavez) one or both (if the #'s retired) of the player's number will switch. It looks like most retired numbers are sticking in season play (Mantle 7 etc.). Check out the spreadsheet for the player's correct number, if you want to change them back for season play.
Let me know if you see anything that needs to be changed for the 40 man roster.
My connection to the server was just lost, they'll hopefully be in in a moment.

Re: OS All-Time Classic Roster (The Show '12)
Their numbers slipped through the cracks somehow.
Just finished my first game of the season. Got down 7-0 early, Rube Waddell got knocked around by Seattle. Ended up tying it late, then Reggie Jackson hit a two run walk off, off of Jamie Moyer in the 10th. Good way to start off the season.Last edited by pjsnell10; 06-14-2012, 09:14 PM.Comment
