I am a 64 year old player who plays MOM exclusively and the ability to "go back in time" and relive some of my past memories of days gone by is priceless. When I saw the excellent representations of Pee Wee Reese and Carl Furillo-I couldn't believe how real they looked.

The only thing missing now that would make the game complete for me would be the addition of Ebbets Field and an option to use Brooklyn unis.

The work is excellent! again my hat's off to you-THANK YOU!
    pulseox,

I can't tell you what it means to me! Thank you very much!
I have to say it's been a labor of love.Like most artist getting positive feedback is what we live for. My journey started 4 or 5 years ago when SCEA offered 'The Face Tool"I didn't want to release any players until I was happy with them.
The fact that you like my Pee Wee Reese means alot to me also. I have a personal story about the Boys of Summer.
I was 9 years old and my dad and family were stationed in Hawaii.
It was 1955 and the Brooklyn Dodgers were on tour after they won the World Series. My dad bought a ball to try and get an autograph. The Dodgers were playing the Hawaiian All-Stars. I went to their dugout and asked for them to sign it. A player told me they can't sign balls during the game.

So I started to walk away and Pee Wee Reese jumped up and said: " give me that ball son and I will get everyone to sign it." He said "come back after the game to get your ball."

I will never forget it I have that ball today with Pee Wee Reese, Roy Campanella, Duke Snider, Jr. Gilliam and Carl Erskin.

If you are interested in the players from the 50's and 60's you will find many more faces from that era on my "BigKlu" player vault.

I have about 360 players all my originals on my "BigKlu" vault so if you want to download some more 50's and 60's feel free.

My players on the BigKlu vault have faces only. I'm not good at doing attributes and would really appreciate it if someone would do the attributes.

thanks again for enjoying our effort.

      pj,

I want to thank you and everybody who worked on this roster.
      Great team, job well done.

Yes half stirrups hair options retro uniforms plus old stadiums.

i would also like to see an option for a 16 old classic team season.
These would be the 16 teams of the 50's.

          AWESOME job on these rosters!!!!

I was wondering if John Franco and Jesse Orosco's deliveries may have been switched? Playing a game now and used both pitchers. Orosco's dellivery was from the set position and more straight up. And Franco's was from the windup and sidearmed.

Also dont know if you could add a few more RHP RP for the Mets the entire pen except Benetiz is a LHP.

          Thanks again for these rosters.

Plenty more players will be on the way. These are the guys we hope to complete sometime in the near future.

This 25 man roster is just a preview of the 40 man roster. The next one we put out should have just about everyone, that everybody would want on their 25 man roster. If anyone wants players not on that list, I'm sure we can add those players as well.

I can continue to spearhead the rest of the project, unless someone else would like to take over. I do have a free summer for the next 2 1/2 months, so I should be able to get a lot of work done on these.

              One other thing.......

I do have a music pack that goes along with these rosters if anyone would be interested. I've got about 40 old time baseball songs, really adds to the feel of old time baseball, if you want to go all out with it.

              Some of the songs are:

Tke Me Out to the Ballgame (from 1908 I believe)
Theme music from the Natural, 61*, Major League + more
              Joltin' Joe DiMaggio
              I love Mickey (Mantle)
Lets Go Go Go White Sox
              Go Cubs Go
              Gets Metsmerized
              Orioles Magic
              We Are Family (79 Pirates)
              Glory Days

...and just about every other cheesy Baseball song you can think of.

If anyone is interested I can post it.

Scooter has both those guys in the vault, you would just have to assign attributes to them.

If somebody has posted videos of games using these rosters, can you provide a link? I'd really like to check out how some of these old-time players look. I don't have the game yet. Will probably buy a PS3 later this summer.
It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

Thanks! I remember when I was little playing "Tudor Electric Football"-a metal field vibrated and buzzed and made the plastic player figures-turn and run in all crazy directions. When one of the opponents ran into your runner-you marked it as a tackle. I used to think to myself: "Someday the players will be little robots that act like real people." It's kinda like what video games have made into reality!

I'm new to PS3 and console games-but have played PC games for years. All sim type games not arcade. Microsoft Flight Simulator and Silent Hunter (A WW2 submarine simulation) have been my favorites. I only play MLB 12 in Manager mode and just make up lineups, change lineups, call hit and runs, etc.

Just recently I've discovered the so called "open world" games that I enjoy- like "Red Dead Redemption" and "Skyrim". Some older people might feel foolish playing such games-but I find it a great way to relax-much better then getting hooked on pills or booze, eh?
