He's a very good prospect, but not better than Soler.
I thought I read in an article they gave him plus speed. Might be wrong though. Billy Hamilton is on another level.....he doesn't count lol

      Yaisel Puig

      .255 - .265 AVG
      15-25 HRs
      15-25 SBs

Good arm, probably not a CF but possible to stick,

Like Hechavarria, good speed but no idea how it will translate to pro game. Good raw power but not Soler/Cespedes power.

      Any thoughts ?

I agree, but probably closer to .265 with 20/20 and a LFer.

Anyone else thinking of how awesome an outfield of Puig/Cespedes/Soler would be? That'd be great....

I'm still in awe. I didn't think it was possible to be that fast. That's like getting Bolt to pinch run.

Plus speed, but top guys like Gardiner and Gordon are Plus-Plus. Also, is Jarrod Dyson REALLY as fast as they say he is?

I'd give Puig Rajai Davis speed.

I do love the new unis and am pretty good friends with Rasmus and Evan Crawford so Ifollow yall a little bit.
Though this is in The minors in a hitters paradise (Las Vegas). So you can't really take those numbers too seriously.

I see a .250/.320/.415 guy. This isn't great but it can't hold up at a position in SS where there's a lack of hitting at the position

So reading on here got me interested in this Billy Hamilton guy. I watched a couple videos including one of an inside the park home run. In rough timing on a youtube video he appears to make it from contact to home plate in between 13 and 14 seconds. That is ridiculous. I was actually questioning whether part of the video was cut out but I don't think so. I don't think I could make it to second in 14 seconds hahaha.

Top 5 in the majors for me in no particular order: Bourn, Gordon, Trout, Gardner, Bonifacio. Again this is just my opinion

In comparison Peter Bourjos hit an inside the park home run and I compared the speed. He made it around the bases in about 14-15 seconds. I thought the 13-14 second range was ridiculous, but I guess it isn't that unheard of.

Here is the article I was thinking of when I made the "better than Solar" comparison a few pages back. Reading it again, it doesn't say that exactly but it does imply he is something special. I'm interested to see how others interpret this. I hope Jorge is better since he is already signed with the Cubs.

Edit: Can't get it to post this link no matter what I try. Maybe I'm not allowed to do that because I'm too new? No idea.

Byron Buxton is the fastest home plate to first base from the right side of the dish in over 20 years.

Scott if you are keeping up with all the transaction then you will notice teams like the a's ,astros and laa angels have release numerous players within their minor league system. How are you going about to replace these players. http://www.operationsports.com/forum...anscation.html

He's the fastest player I've seen since Joe Montana. On a serious note, Scott I'm nearly done with all 50ish draftee appearances.

Just wondering who you guys are going to take out of the Cubs roster for the draft picks. Berg seems to always still be on the Cubs in ridins updates when he's with the yanks. Berg and K. Wood would work I guess.
