    Thanks.

Lmao I figured with 116 pages of this thread they probably had been released.

Not a bad assumption, to be honest I just really wanted to use that phrase and you were the unlucky guy who asked ...

Rosters should be out within the week, and yes contracts are to a certain extent. First post of the thread indicates everything about what's included in the rosters.

I'm sorry, but this is the most epic response I've seen in a while. I'll give you a trophy.

I have an intriguing question; What if a top prospect that wasn't in OSFM just got promoted to the bigs? Because I know you guys want accurate rosters. For example, Sam Dyson was just promoted. Then again, since you guys are done the AL, I might just create him myself.

Re: Scott's OSFM ZiPS Re-rated Rosters

I first and foremost want to say thank you for your hard work.

I noticed you are re-rating some MLB players and I was hoping you are taking a long look at lowering Bryce Harper's overall to a mid B? I know he has the potential to be a monster in real life but he hasn't proven that he deserves the A overall that most people have given him already.

Also I am hoping for some love for Bryan LaHair (even though you can't change potential). I hate how nobody has boosted him up to a B overall yet, especially since Harper is an A.

Here are their real life stats so far this season.

                    Harper- .280 AVG, .354 OBP, .478 SLG, .832 OPS
                    LaHair- .293 AVG, .371 OBP, .536 SLG, .907 OPS

I wouldn't mind Harper being an A so much if he was in his 3rd or 4th year and was just having a somewhat down year but with this being his rookie season I feel he needs to earn that A instead of people just handing him it.

Sorry if this has already been brought up and thanks again for your hard work.

The entire point of these rosters is to look BEYOND overalls, and into the individual stats.

Have you seen Bryce play? overall isn't only based on their hitting stats. Bryce is also a great baserunner and a good fielder.

Thing is there is little to no way to accurately portray Harper's individual ratings without him being a A overall. The game is a little messed up in that way as the only attribute I have for him that is over 80 is his arm strength yet he still ends up as a A. He's just that good with each individual attribute. I'll play around and see what I can do with his ratings.

Thanks for the response. I usually don't mess around with editing guys so I wasn't aware of that.

Does anybody have any idea if somebody is going to be making a opening day set of these rosters? Im almost certain Scott's will be up to date with all the trades that happened. And I would like to start my Astros chise with Carlos Lee. (since I have to anyways based off my blog) It's not a big deal at all if nobody does I can do it myself, I was just wondering

There are way too many moves made to turn this into an Opening Day, especially with the draft picks...
