How do you save the roster as a new roster file in the game? wont save, like the others are saying.

Just wondering if you were planning on releasing another update of transactions for MLB the Show 11? Your last updates have been amazing and we all appreciate your hard work on these. A post trade deadline roster would be awesome. Thanks again for all of your hard work.

I downloaded the rosters and love them so far but just have a few gripes in terms of ratings..

i ran a simd a season just to get a feel of what kinda sim stat numbers your rosters would get and heres what i got.

Carlos Quentin: 48 hr 355 avg 134 rbi almost got the triple crown was a point of the average. he is rated too high

Dan Uggla: 155 games 4hr 32 rbi 244 avg numbers across the board are way too low imo.

Adrian gonzalez: 12 hr 67 rbi 142 games same as above too low imo

Michael Bourn: 22 hr 98 rbi 352 avg 123 sb's: i the stolen base numbers are massive but not really realistic also his other numbers are quite inflated has a higher ovr than Jacoby Ellsbury??

Also i know the cardinals are your fav team but i do beleive that they are a tad overated just lil bit

there numerous other players as well im not having a dig at yah i just want to know what the method behind some of these ratings are?

Thanks for pointing out some inflated ratings. Quentin hadn't been updated since his monster comeback from the DL. I actually started planning on fixing some inflated ratings for the next update. The ratings system I use is RosterTools, it updates contact, power, discipline, vision, H/9 BB/9, K/9, and HR/9. My ratings are not bias and are completely stat based. Cardinals are ranked so high because they lead the majors in runs, avg, and run differential. Thank you for the feedback and I will work towards fixing the problem!

Does anyone have a problem in which they can't save their game modes, whether it be RttS or Season mode, the game refuses to save if I choose to use these rosters. It says something like

"Unable to locate the current saved file, which was created by another user. Therefore, no further progress can be saved at this time."

It won't save anything, but the rosters are amazing. Has anyone come across this problem and knowhow to fix it?

Anybody find a solution to this problem yet, it would be greatly appreciated.

No worries it good you responded any cahnce you can upload the rostertools program cant find anywhere here on the site?? Also pitching rating are perfect imo most the ace pitchers are bang on some of the relievers and closers need a few tweaks but other than that most of the ptichers are great !!

I'm just wondering if you can upload a roster file without the joe randoms because I want to start a franchise and I do not want to trouble myself editing each joe random and place stats on them and change their names

Thank you for uploading the rosters and putting many hours of hard work in but I have one question. Whenever I download the file off the internet off of my PC or my PS3 and I do everything I am supposed to do. When I try to save a game file MLB 11: The Show gives me an error that says basically I can't save the game files because the system can't find the original game files. But it's only roster!! So I am wondering what do I do to avoid this problem and make my game files save? Other than that the rosters were up to date and I thank you for that.


P.S. I am using the 7/20/2012 and the 8/1/2012 rosters.

I have run across that same problem and I was hoping someone knew a way around this.

Can someone tell me what I need to see the files on the jump drive? I downloaded winzip and unzipped the file and put on jump drive but when I view the jump drive on my PS3 the files do not show up.
