I am trying to figure out how to update my roster with this file.
I have never updated rosters before.
Can someone post a step by step process of how to do it?
I tried downloading the most recent file from this post to my computer and then save it to a USB drive and save it to my PS3 but that doesnt seem to work as all that I see on my PS3 when I put the USB in is the USB under video or images with no video or images there.
I also tried to download the roster file direct on PS3 from the internet but it tells me to "Connect storage media at the save destination"

Any help would be appreciated.

1. Download the new file http://www.mediafire.com/?s8ouc2uut1t4uu7
2. Unzip it using WinRAR http://www.win-rar.com/download.html?&L=0
3. Copy the file over to your USB
4. Insert the USB into your PS3
5. Look under your USB and copy the file to your PS3

Should work... Not too sure. I've never downloaded rosters from OS. I zipped the entire file instead of just the roster this time, it should work a lot nicer.

Very nice. Easiest data transfer I ever made. All you have to do is format or reformat your USB stick on you computer and wipe all the data off of it. Then just drag the entire unzipped file PS3/SAVEDATA and roster file over in one fell swoop. Great idea.

I erased those 2 players and many other retired players to create more room in Free Agency. If they ever make a come back I just use the face glitch like I did for Andy Pettitte

would you be able to walk me through how i could add players back? ill do it myself, but i dont know what tools, or how to do it.

It's very simple. Just go to CAP then enter all of their basics and attributes. Just don't enter in player audio or touch their face. Export the player then import them into your roster. Go edit the player and enter his name in the player audio. For this to work you can't have the patched version

These are great for one off exhibition games. How long do you plan on updating the rosters?

I know for sure at least until the end of the regular season. Probably much longer than that though. I've invested far too much time in these rosters to buy a new game and start over.

If Cardinal has the time an opening day roster would be great. I play with his rosters a lot. 11 runs smooth as silk and looks damn near as good as 12.

Thanks to everyone for their positive feedback! I will be doing an Opening Day set, and will continue updating throughout the season. I will release an updated roster in the next few days also. I'm currently using a source I found on the forum to update all of the pitch types! By Opening Day I will hopefully have all of the pitchers in the game updated!
