You'll have to wait and see! I'm still not 100% sold on what I have. I think their faces are pretty spot on though.

He plays for the Great Falls Voyagers. Here an article with a little bit about him:

I'll take a look, but like I said, it's going to have to wait a while. I still got quite a bit left to do.

Yeah no problem...I just figured I would give you some basic info on him. I am not starting my franchise until a couple weeks after OSFM comes out.
      NHL: Rangers
      MLB: Yankees
      NFL: Giants
      NCAAF: Illinois Fighting Illini, Lafayette

Hey sorry if this has already been asked but will you be adding Chris Sale's slurve and/or Hector Santiago's screwball to the game? Also what is the final verdict on Carlos Sanchez's potential, personally I think low A but that's just my opinion.

        -A fellow White Sox fan.

Not touching any SCEA players, so no updates to Sale or Santiago. As for Sanchez, he is a solid B. The only guy I bumped up was Thompson, he's a B also. Hawkins is the only A- guy in the set.

first off i wanna say i appreciate all that you guys do and the info that is shared among everyone to make this game and specific teams as close to perfect as possible!!! Didnt know where else to put this...but since i figured its mostly sox fans in here....is anyone else bothered by the fact they didnt fix US Cellular at all this year? The ribbon board in center is still incorrect and doesnt display stats, and the wall behind left field bleechers is still a play gray wall instead of matching the rightfield wall? Bothered me last year and again its not been adressed this year.

For about 3 straight years I have posted in the "STADIUM CHANGES/FIXES" thread or whatever it's called to point out that the ribbon in CF is wrong, and I've always included pictures of what it should look like, and they never seem to care enough to change it. If this was the Yankees, Red Sox, or Cubs, it would have been changed immediately, but I just don't think they care enough to update US Cellular.

They have also yet to add "The Catch" to the LCF wall where Wise saved Buehrle's perfect game, and that happened 3 1/2 years ago.

Sanchez is a Rule 5, so he has to make the team or get sent back to the Angels. Anyone that is a ST invite doesn't burn an option to go to the minors, they have the right to ask for a release though (unless I am mistaken).
I really hope Morel keeps working out at SS and 2B, because I would much rather have him on the bench than Angel Sanchez.

Does your version also have the messed up wall behind the bleechers?

WhiteSox option RHP Andre Rienzo and Jhan Mariñez, C Josh Phegley and OF Jared Mitchell to Triple-A Charlotte. No surprises.

I see, we'll is there any chance of a ratings boost for Conor Gillaspie? I know you guys are against altering players who are already in the game but I think he deserves it as he's been strong and consistent all throughout Spring Training and had a solid chance of making the team. Also I don't know if this is a fluke but when I first bought the game I checked and saw he was on the roster but for some reason my default roster doesn't have him included anymore, is this just me or did they deliberately remove him?

No. Gillaspie will not be rated differently. No player is allowed to be touched in the initial set no matter how much better/worse they seem to be performing. The reason he is not on the default roster is because he was traded after the game's roster was set for release. He was moved to the White Sox in the 3/5 roster update.

I created an Angel Sanchez off your ratings and accessories that has experience of like 1.033 I think(but a C potential). I need to work on the face a little tho it is close. I can upload it if you are interested in using it.

It doesn't matter. Would you believe I have yet to even play a game? Between my job and creating all these CAPs, I just don't have time to try the game out, let alone get any sleep, haha. I'll probably just wait for SCEA to add him in the next roster update. Service time isn't that big of an issue with me than it is with other people.

I don’t want to hijack this thread nor create a new one just for this so.

I'm going to post this here for any White Sox fans. I have tried to recreate the 1983 White Sox. I made the 40 Man roster with future prospects. The future prospects range from 1984 Daryl Boston to 1991 Joey Cora. The stats for all the players were sent through five ratings calculators (Nomo, Kritter, Bahnzo, Knight, and thiplethreat) then averaged by me with comparison to current SCEA CAPs with comparable stats. The future prospects were walked back using knights prospect ratings. So hopefully they turn out to be good in the future.

The roster was uploaded to the vault on 3/15 with the name “1983 Chicago White Sox” under historic rosters with username captainphildo.

Last year I made the All Time White Sox with 90 CAPs. I still have not decided if I am going to remake that roster this year or not. I have all the ratings and player info saved in a excel spread sheet.

I don’t think I am going to create any more rosters this year but I am thinking of the 1959, 1993/94, 2005, and maybe 1917, for future The Show Games. (I say future Show games because I have read through a lot of news articles and other media outlets from their time to find out the exact pitches each pitcher throws and at which speed, break and kind of control they had. The same goes with the pull and push, power and contact hitters, and the great or poor defensive players.) Any suggestions of any past White Sox teams I have overlooked to create are welcome.

No worries, you're not hijacking anything. I'd add the 1906 Hitless Wonders to the list also. That's really the only team I think you left out.
