Re: 2013 OSFM: Pittsburgh Pirates
I was interested in this last night also. I saw that Gerrit Cole had the top 50 icon but Taillon didn't. I loaded up franchise and the top 50 icon's didn't update.
I'm not sure how it works. I looked for other top 50 icons and I saw a few players rated in the high 60's however Taillon is rated a 73.

Re: 2013 OSFM: Pittsburgh Pirates
Last year we stashed them (the injured guys) in A-ball then would call them up when they were brought up from the DL in real life. I think Ridin' has Morton in AAA, but you can just knock him down to A-ball and bump guys to their correct level.
Liriano, Inge, and Karstens are already in A.
Gerrit Cole has a Top 50 icon.Comment

Injuries are not a problem for me. I just put them in the minors and keep track if when they should return. I'm not doing all that 30 team control lol.
Btw, isn't Taillon in the top 50?Comment

Re: 2013 OSFM: Pittsburgh Pirates
I think the top 50 icon might be hard coded and not dynamic.
I guess I could recreate Taillon with the top 50 prospect icon. Grrr.
Although I wonder if the other roster creators knew this, I doubt all the other A potential prospects are correct (some may not have top 50 and should while others may have top 50 and should not)."I am more valuable to my team hitting .330 than swinging for home runs." - Roberto Clemente

Re: 2013 OSFM: Pittsburgh Pirates
GoBucs,
Downloaded several of your players from the vault, they're awesome. Noticed you have a Gerrit Cole and Jameson Taillon in there. Are they any different than the ones in OSFM? I know some of the duplicate players have better potentials than the OSFM version, same case for Cole and Taillon or were they for Ridin/jeezy/knight? Just trying to decide if I should add them into the mix as well.Last edited by eman11; 04-03-2013, 02:12 PM.Comment

I expected that sean jeezy and the top 100 prospect team (who also do face edits) would create Cole and Taillon and their version would be used in the OSFM ver 1 set, so I figured I'd upload my versions. That doesn't appear to be the case as the version of Cole and Taillon in OSFM used are the ones done by tree3five and myself. Perhaps they liked my face edit or thought it was good enough to just use ours?
I think I did a good job on Cole but I thought Taillon was just okay (I have a tough time getting his face edit right).
EDIT: Also thanks for the complements all. Glad everyone likes what tree3five and I have done this year.Last edited by GoBucs09; 04-03-2013, 04:43 PM."I am more valuable to my team hitting .330 than swinging for home runs." - Roberto Clemente

Btw, I wanted to let you know that if you check out my franchise (link in my signature), you will find the pitching rotations, bullpens, lineup, etc for A through AAA. Figured having all that information in one place may help.Comment
