I really do hope seanjeezy is okay... he really helped me put together community feedback on pitch editing while I was at the Community Week event back in January this year. He has always offered unique contributions to The Show community which are much appreciated, but it's not so important what he does in these forums. I just hope he's doing fine at the moment.

I want to start a slightly more-accurate franchise, so I'll be a pro-active if you could call it that. more OCD.

uploaded my personal starting set to the vault. 6 teams have all their pitch edits completed based off jeezy's spreadsheet & slight/moderate attribute tweaking done as well. you can find it in the vault under TDstarterOSFM

and BTW, I think I found what Jeezy was waiting for or working on...check this thread. http://www.operationsports.com/forum...alculator.html

I say we just collaborate and finish off this set with the data provided. I could open the program with my mac, just need to figure out how to work with it. I have a good start you could certainly use my set if things look alright to you folk. get back at me...for some reason I couldn't pm anybody.

As a Tigers fan, I can state that Porcello, and Scherzer, are both throwing curveballs this year. In addition, Porcello has abandoned his slider.

Great news. Are these going to have full equipment edits as well?

So what are we supposed to do in a case like Sean Burnett where it says he throws a Curveball and theres no control data?

Exactly, where are the control ratings?

Is there a spreadsheet that helps correlate those projected stats with attributes in-game? I'd like to help put this roster out but I'm not sure what numbers will produce what stats in the game.

I was posting information in for a couple of players. It seems most of the pitcher have a 72 MPH Circle Change but of course with different control and break.

You enter the pitchers name in the column on the left. The control rating will appear for the related pitch. The problem is brooks where jeezy does most of the research as far as I can tell, classifies a two seam and sinker as the same pitch so you have to actually see the movement visual and make the call. Same thing for some cb, sw cv, 12-6, and change/cir change.

2 seam and sinker movement is pretty much the same...sinker has a little more downward movement to it, 2 seamer runs a little more in. A curve with more horizontal break you will want to make a sweeping curve..or even a slurve really. Not much difference between those two pitches. The 12-6 you will use for a pitch that has almost no horizontal movement, but has a lot of vertical movement. Almost every pitcher in the game throws more of a circle change than a change up. There's no run to a change up in this game..so nearly every pitcher should have the circle change instead.

Sorry. They mentioned the ratings calculator linked above. The pitches came off of the jeezy spreadsheet.
