Thanks so much for all the work, really love that I found a roster that I feel does Ahmed Rosario's potential justice.
I do have a few questions though
Is there a specific reason why George Springer potential was downgraded to an 87?
Also did you guys not edit Oscar Taveras? I assume not since he only has steamer projections and not Zips, IDK if you guys have addressed this or anything, or tested and found it worked out fine but it seems like he'll be over powered as he is the Cardinals best OF(not only in OVR, but also batting stats) and I doubt that he is currently better than Craig or Holliday irl.

Just checked out the twitch stream and it says offline...how are the pitch edits coming along fellas? If you two need a break from about 15 hours of straight editing, I could lend a hand.

They had just finished the Red Sox. So probably 75-80% done. At that was just when the stream went offline.

Potential is a rating that can change on it's own. 87 for Springer seems about right.
But yeah you're right, in the sims I was running, I has a lot of Oscar Taveras MVPs.

Sliders (aside from clutch) have absolutely zero influence on simmed games.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you are saying but there is not a clutch slider. Clutch rating yes but no clutch slider.

Funny, I just simmed 3 years of original osfm roster and only got 10 total guys hitting over .300 and just 25 over .290. This is all on average of 3 years as well. So the guys whining that these rosters are fubar, are completely wrong!

Not yet, ive got it saved and will try 3 of it as well! Will let you know! I think it has something to do with pitchers being rated higher than they should be tho, they basically dominate! Im not seeing enough over 100 RBI guys either!

Yeah I wasn't really worried about Springer just curious but Taveras seems like a potential problem

Also Zach Thornton on the Mets should be sent to AAA and Vick Black should be sent up.

How about the OSFM V2 roster? Any sims with that one?

Just ran one with OSFM v2 and had 9 .300. High was Mauer at .328. Surprised.

My issue with OSFM v2 is that since so many people contributed, it doesn't seem to be equal across teams. I know teams will be better than others, but it just seems inconsistent. Or maybe that's just the butthurt Cubs fan in my talking. -shrug-

Players that are on the DL, specifically the 60 day DL (irl) get put in A ball. I kinda wish they hadn't done that, because it can skew things. But those who want pint-point realism go with that.

I think they should of been left on the 40 man roster though because when you start a franchise they'll all be left in A ball for the season when some of them will still play this season IRL

For sliders I've tried to make a set that's a combination of TNK's and the sliders Willard suggested on one of the first few pages of this thread. In the limited time I've played with these they seem really good. I thought I might as well make a base set that we can run off of until further notice or until Willard and Co. can come up with better ones.

WOW, I'm honestly speechless. I was one of the proponents of the dude who came in here complaining about only seeing three .300+ hitters, but apparently this is an issue with OSFM and OSFM V2, which clearly shows it's an issue with the sim engine in general and not the rosters. Willard said he tried to combat this problem, but in all his sims, he just couldn't and it was eating at him. Very interesting! Good job, guys!
