Re: MLB 14 The Show OSFM Hybrid Roster - V2 Released
Guys, I've started to do accessories and some motion/stance updates. I'm thinking I'll stick to MLB players since MILB should be kind of close to what they wear or their stance/motion. I don't know if these guys were planning this version or have started but it shouldn't take me too long.

Re: MLB 14 The Show OSFM Hybrid Roster - V2 Released
Has anyone who plays with classic pitching and timed hitting found sliders that workwell with this roster, so far I'm not seeing nearly enough offense using armor and shield/Marino's set.
Although I am playing as the metsComment

I've been using the roster with timing hitting, and have bumped contact and power to 6, for both the user and cpu. Seems to be working.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show OSFM Hybrid Roster - V2 Released
I've been working on the next version of this roster but can't give any definitive release date. As of now I'm the only one working on this thing as Willard takes care of other, more important things at the moment and a few of the guys that helped earlier are enjoying the actual playing of the game.
My editing has been slow but not fruitless. I've been coming home every day after work and putting 3-4 hours of editing into the game. And I'm not exactly a ball of energy either. I've edited since the day of the ps3 release.
I'm currently focused on the NL west. The Giants in particular were riddled with errors (ht/wt, age, faces, positions, equipment, etc.) and required a good amount of time. The Padres and Rockies I think are set after I edited inaccuracies, created a few players and shuffled guys around to their correct level. Still have to go through the Diamondbacks but I did create David Peralta, he's in the vault.
I edit faces of players as I go along. Joey Gallo and Ryan Rua of the Rangers have been redone. There are a bunch of other guys too that I've spent time on. Minor leaguers are being rerated as I see fit.
If any OCD inflicted roster editor wants to help feel free to PM me.

Re: MLB 14 The Show OSFM Hybrid Roster - V2 Released
Has anybody using these rosters encountered any issues with pitchers stamina? I am playing my franchise as the Astros so my pitchers are sub par but I am frequently encountering my guys being out of energy around 75 pitches. My bullpen is pretty taxed haha .. So just wondering if my staff just has really low stamina or is this across the league?Comment

Yep very much so....AI pitcher fatigues as well...so I am guessing the stamina they gave the pitchers have a bunch to do with it. I have tried to bump that starter slider up a fewComment

Another thing is that the "he's getting tired" message doesn't even mean you need to sub out. I've pitched on fumes more than once and they lose a bit of movement after awhile, but you can still get guys out. Haven't seen any injuries related to keeping pitchers going on fumes either. I usually get the getting tired or out of energy messages between 70 and 95 pitches, but it really depends on the stamina and the type of outing. Almost had a complete game shutout with a 70 STM pitcher yesterday. It can be done, but you can also use the starter stamina slider to make it how you want it.

I'm just living with it and pitching on fumes currently hahaComment

I set my starter stamina at 7 and reliever at 2
I have used Dickey and Morrow so far in my season for my Jays - and I use metered pitching which means if you go red too often you will gas your pitchers faster.
Dickey could have gone 9 if he didn't have his typical crappy 7th, and Morrow started to feel it after 6 - he was at 86 pitches - but I also use a lot of red zone pitches for him to get K's - had 10 k's for the game which is right about where he goes in a good game. After 94 pitches his pitches lost movement - which for any Blue Jays fan - this has been true to his norm.
Short relief guys - 35 stamina pitchers - start to feel it after 20 pitches which again is realistic.
Used the same setting last year and really found it worked out very well

Re: MLB 14 The Show OSFM Hybrid Roster - V2 Released
I used metered pitching and timing hitting - I am hitting up a storm right now - actually going to look at raising my skill level - but I am using the Blue Jays who have hitting coming out their behinds right now - I have my contact slider set to 6 and power also at 6 - in 2 games I have 6 HR's and hitters are ripping it up - except for guys who shouldn't be
Stamina was a tough one because it allows pitchers to throw so many innings and we far too many pitchers way over the 200 innings mark.
