Wanted to say good job on these rosters, a lot of hard work put into them. However, for me personally I just was not a fan of the ratings that were changed. We had Fister as the Ace when that is not realistic when everyone knows Stras is the Ace. I played a bunch of games and there was 0 offense. 5 games went to 20+ innings (three in one series) Sucks for me, could have just stayed with Knights from the get go and not waited a month to start my franchise.

Have you made the slider adjustments we suggested - are you maybe playing on a higher skill level then maybe you should be?
I found my first few games were low scoring - mainly playing against ace pitchers which is the way it should be - but just like IRL, you get into some teams pens and you tear them a new one.
I am not saying these rosters are going to be your cup of tea - but honestly they play more real to life over the long run then any others - the player growth using the SCEA players also gets into a high number where everyone is good

Re: MLB 14 The Show OSFM Hybrid Roster - V2 Released
Both these guys will be in the next update. If you can save me the time of having to find a matching pitching motion for von Schamann and a batting stance for Selsky, I can get them to you earlier.Comment

I am also new to the series this year, and you should definitely try these rosters. These guys have done an awesome job on them. I am using dynamic difficulty with the suggested sliders on the front page and having great games. I am not the one to explain 30-team control to you, but there is a 30-team control guide somewhere in this forum that helped me a lot.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show OSFM Hybrid Roster - V2 Released
You are too fixated on the Overalls instead of the performance - yes Fister because he has ungodly movement on his pitches got a better overall - but if you look at the other numbers he is where he should be. Overalls especially with pitchers were very skewed this year.

Looks good! Nice to see results from a team I did not look a ton intoComment

I was never sold on pitch edits or even the stats source when we did it last year, but once I figured out my sliders and gameplay settings I felt the work was worth it. I personally always hated how SCEA underrated low experience players which was why I wanted to make a uniform stats roster

after that once you get into your game you will see scores and updates same as you would if you were controlling only 1 team.Comment

Actually, thas not true. what you have to do to see scores when you do 30 team control is before you start your game go to the leagues schedule and then sim each game(try not to look at who won)
