Re: Anyone interested in a Show 14 Vita (2017) Roster?
My advice is to first try the method for loading the roster on any PS Vita/PSTV on official firmware when the other procedure does not work.
Update: <strike>I have decrypted my MLB 14 The Show digital game and most recent patch with MaiDump, deleted the original copy, installed the decrypted game and for some reason it did not launch.</strike>Last edited by lorak; 04-21-2017, 08:29 PM.Comment

Re: Anyone interested in a Show 14 Vita (2017) Roster?
Well I just tried the other method and I got the same error as before. Maybe maidump doesn't work with mlb 14? The one I installed was a vpk and it works fine. But if you dumped the update successfully could you upload just the patch so I can see if it works with my game?Comment

Re: Anyone interested in a Show 14 Vita (2017) Roster?
Try this:
Go to ux0:user/00 and rename savedata (a folder with the 2017 updated roster) as savedata1 and savedata_bkp (your original game saves) as savedata. Now launch MLB 14 The Show and load one of your saves. Close the game.
Then, go again to ux0:user/00 and rename savedata as savedata_bkp and savedata1 as savedata . It should work.
I got the same error code as you yesterday and fixed it this way.
Finally, check your private messages here at Operations Sports.Last edited by lorak; 10-10-2020, 11:00 AM.Comment

Re: Anyone interested in a Show 14 Vita (2017) Roster?
Info regarding different dumped versions of MLB 14 The Show for PS Vita.
I can confirm that the dumped version of MLB 14 The Show 1.02 patch works if it is dumped/installed with MaiDump v233.2z.Ex and does not work if it is dumped with Vitamin 2.0.
Vitamin 2.0
Just dumped the game and the 1.02 patch with Vitamin 2.0, delete the game, then install the game and the patch in VitaShell and the game does not start correctly and it crashes at some point. However, the dumped game without the 1.02 patch works fine. If you install the 1.02 dumped patch you will need to delete and reinstall the game again to make it work.
MaiDump v233.2zEx
Just dumped the game and the 1.02 patch with MaiDump v233.2z.Ex, deleted the game, then install the game (install game from folder) and the patch (install patch from folder) in MaiDump v233.2z.Ex and everything seems to work. I have no issues until now. Then, if you want to play the 1.02 patch you need to dump/install the game and update patch with MaiDump v233.2z.Ex.Last edited by lorak; 05-11-2021, 08:14 AM.Comment

Re: Anyone interested in a Show 14 Vita (2017) Roster?
Of course it can be used!
I just loaded this roster in a decrypted (with MaiDump v233.2z.Ex.) version of this game.
As I already said, you need the game and 1.02 patch dumps generated with MaiDump v233.2z.Ex. Install first the game with "install game from folder", then the patch with "install patch from folder". All of it in MaiDump v233.2z.Ex. Now follow the 5 steps below. Notice that you NEED to start with no previous game saves for this game.
- Save a new roster as "Apr 2017" in the slot on top (the first one on top) in the save roster menu while in game.
- Backup your MLB 14 The Show game saves with vita save manager.
- Transfer via usb or ftp the two files inside folder "ROSTER_30"-see the attachment- to folder "ROSTER_30" in your PS Vita. The latter is located in the folder where you have your vita save manager backup from step 2 in your PS Vita. The attachment here is the same file as before but I have decided to delete the post where it was.
- Restore your game saves for MLB 14 The Show with vita save manager. I refer to the game saves from step 2, already updated in step 3.
- Launch the game form livearea and load the roster "Apr 2017". IT WORKS.
Now you can save anything else you want (settings, franchise, season, more rosters, etc.)Attached FilesLast edited by lorak; 04-21-2017, 11:30 PM.Comment

Re: Anyone interested in a Show 14 Vita (2017) Roster?
Followed all steps exactly guess because I'm on vpk version it doesn't work. I can't find a maidump online if you could host yours on MEGA that would be awesome. Or Could it also be because I did the qcma backup thing earlier and that made it encrypted?Comment

Re: Anyone interested in a Show 14 Vita (2017) Roster?
I have no way to host such a big file. Try to get a game card of this game with your friends or second hand and dump it with MaiDump v233.2z.Ex.Last edited by lorak; 04-22-2017, 05:25 PM.Comment
