OK guys. Since this is a thread already for MLB 14 I will just post my questions here in this thread instead of starting another one. First of all, this is for PS3 & not Vita though.

Our teenage son still has a PS3 & plays the 14 version of The Show. I have moved onto PS4 myself finally & love the 17 version of The Show. What I,m wanting to do for my son is get the missing players from MLB 14 The Show & add them to the game from say a 16 or 17 version from the PS3 or PS4.

Is a gamer capable of going to the vault & downloading a roster or CAPS from a newer version of the game & importing players from any roster into the 16 version of The Show on PS3? He's wanting updated players that's missing from the game on PS3 that SCEA has removed in newer version of the game. Can this be done?

Or, another option would be somebody still on PS3 that has an updated roster possibly that can be posted here on the forums as an offline file so he can get the correct rosters. Or, someone with a 14 The Show roster still for PS3 & upload that so he can pick which players to import into his roster for 14? Thanks guys & hopefully someone can help my son out. Thanks guys & I hope that I've made things clear as to what I'm looking for.

I've been working on it for weeks (hadn't touched it since last July) and just need to work on the minors, which will take forever. Let me know if you want it the way it is.

Of course it can be used!

I just loaded this roster in a decrypted (with MaiDump v233.2z.Ex.) version of this game.

As I already said, you need the game and 1.02 patch dumps generated with MaiDump v233.2z.Ex. Install first the game with "install game from folder", then the patch with "install patch from folder". All of it in MaiDump v233.2z.Ex. Now follow the 5 steps below. Notice that you NEED to start with no previous game saves for this game.

1. Save a new roster as "Apr 2017" in the slot on top (the first one on top) in the save roster menu while in game.
2. Backup your MLB 14 The Show game saves with vita save manager.
3. Transfer via usb or ftp the two files inside folder "ROSTER_30"-see the attachment- to folder "ROSTER_30" in your PS Vita. The latter is located in the folder where you have your vita save manager backup from step 2 in your PS Vita. The attachment here is the same file as before but I have decided to delete the post where it was.
4. Restore your game saves for MLB 14 The Show with vita save manager. I refer to the game saves from step 2, already updated in step 3.
5. Launch the game form livearea and load the roster "Apr 2017". IT WORKS.

Now you can save anything else you want (settings, franchise, season, more rosters, etc.)

I followed up to step 5. But it says "File corrupt". I used MaiDump v233.2zEx and made patch 1.02. My save backup file is 1kb / 547kb, but the file you uploaded is 1kb / 514kb Is this correct?

That is weird. Please follow the 5-step guide carefully (again), put special attention to steps 3, 4 and "Notice that you NEED to start with no previous game saves for this game" as read in the guide. I refer to the guide you quoted in your post. If you still have problems send me a PM here at OS.
