I am asking since a few weeks ago @0leius mentioned that he always got a "File is corrupt" message.

honestly not sure becuase i have the show 15 i was waiting for the livearea nd graphic patch before i even try to download 14

Great to hear it!!
I can assume the roster works ok and the "File is corrupt" message in the previous posts is unfortunately somehow specific to @0leius.

Do not worry, short after the trade deadline, I plan to release a new roster update. I will bring back Chris Sale from the shadows.

Could you set back players which are customized? ex) chris sale, hyun-jin ryu, matt harvey, etc..

These players had been initially made by official the show. so they had real face and pictures. but for some reasons, that players were customized. so real face and player's pictures was gone....

As far as I know, you can carry over a franchise file to recent versions of the game until last year. I am afraid that you cannot carry over franchise files between consoles.

Update: I was able to transfer with success a roster game save from MLB14TS PS3 to MLB14TS PSVita. I just injected the data from the PS3 game save into PSVita one.

According to the below (reddit), if you can get your Vita file to the cloud, it will load to PS4

Launch MLB The Show '14 on your PS3/PS Vita

Load the franchise, season, or RTTS that you'd like to transfer

Once your franchise, season, or RTTS is loaded, go to the "data utility" tab.

Select the option to "Upload it to cloud"

Now launch MLB The Show '14 on your PS4

Select franchise, season, or RTTS option, and then click "load from cloud"

It will then prompt you to download your save from the cloud, select yes and proceed with download.

Is the cloud service linked to the online vault? That would be a bummer.

The big problem is that servers have been decommissioned. Online modes are no longer available. There is no way to upload MLBTS14 PS Vita files to the cloud.

Yep. Soul crushing. Really thought we had a chance to get these to PS4/PS5

I even loaded up 14 and 15 beacuse I swear one of them had a direct PS3 file port option. (NOPE..)

I have 16 (PS3).. but the thought of playing in 720, on a 4k TV..... guess I could run it on the emulator.

.. anyway, really nice work here. This was/is so sorely needed!

I can assume the roster works ok and the "File is corrupt" message in the previous posts is unfortunately somehow specific to @0leius.

I just gave it a try (even going as far as going from an unmodded 3.73 Vita all the way to 3.65 H-Encore 2 + Enso) and I got File Is Corrupt when I tried the 2021 files into ROSTER_031 and also 2017 files into ROSTER_030.

So is the function of the savemgr allow importing of save data from other PS Vita, bypassing / fixing checks?

Yes, savemanager allows it. Please double check these two posts: Instructions and slot explanation. Below, another person says that this roster actually works.

Yes, savemanager allows it.

Thanks for the reply. I guess just one more thing: does the MLB14 game itself also need to be decrypted? I am just running it off the game card, with the savegame files on the memory card. I read elsewhere that the game installation can also be copied and then decrypted. Is that necessary in order to load other's save games?

Not, it is not necessary to have the MLB14TS game files decrypted.

I only have MLB14TS to work on. You could try to apply my roster update in MLB15TS. I suspect that roster files formats for both games are quite similar if not the same.

By the way, I plan to work on a post-trade deadline roster soon.
