The in-game description is "Shift this slider to the right to increase the timing window for swings to make contact." I interpret this as move it to the left to swing and miss more, move it to the right to swing and miss less. So, I view this as a "contact" slider in a way. From what you describe, it sounds like the hit quality slider, which doesn't affect how much contact you make but how well you hit the ball when you do make contact. To me, it seems redundant to have 2 sliders that do the same thing - timing window slider kinda determines if you do make contact, and the hit quality slider determines how well you hit the ball when you do indeed make contact. I could be completely wrong as I have not thoroughly tested out the timing window slider, I'm just assuming it works according to my interpretation.

i totally agree with u..looking at te descriptions in the game and the name of the sliders tahts totally correct...
but thats just not how i feel when i test them in the demo...

timing slider was definatly helping me get hit, while not making me strike out less..
