Also did I miss it or does the PSP version not have all the sliders listed in the game that the console version has? Even when going into slider options during a game there is nothing for foulballs or strike%.

What sliders to use for PSP? Will all the ones here work?
Can I use any of the sliders I see here (like nemesis) and will they work just as well for the PSP?

Re: What sliders to use for PSP? Will all the ones here work?
The PS3 version has additional sliders not found on the PSP or the PS2.
As for the PSP, I play on AllStar default with Pitch Speed set to zero (all the way to the left.) I am able to pull the ball and get extra base hits that way and with the smaller screen, it helps see the ball a bit better.
That is all. -
Re: What sliders to use for PSP? Will all the ones here work?
After about 40-50 games with the PSP version on HOF I find the game way too easy. I just won the WS and lost only 1 game in the playoffs. The rest of the games were not even that close. And most of my batting averages are ending up around .300 - .400
Even after turning off all the pitching and hiting aids I still find the game too easy.
I know the PSP version if missing some sliders from the console version, just wondering if all the other sliders here will translate well from console to PSP.
Nemesis said he would post sliders from his PSP version so hoping those come out just as well as the PS3 ones he created.Comment

Woah thanks so much dude, can't wait to try these. I will let you know how things turn out.
I was pretty much using something similiar and it seemed pretty good, I found that power at -1 for user was pretty good too if you are using (like you should be) the L Stick to swing. I still had 4 or 5 HR in the 3 games I tried out.
Nem one thing is how come you got CPU Contact low? It's just not needed (like Power) to give the CPU a little more kick in the pants?
Thanks again bro!Comment

Thank you for the sliders Nemesis. I've been wanting to start playing this again. Just wondering... have you seen any injuries at all in the PSP version?Villanova Class of 2012

Re: What sliders to use for PSP? Will all the ones here work?
So I hope that number comes up a little now.
On a side note, if a Mod is reading this (and can do so) can you please change the title of the thread. Maybe something along the lines of "PSP Sliders" or "Nemesis HOF PSP Sliders" or something. Not a big deal but might help others out.Last edited by Hand76; 07-02-2008, 08:56 PM.Comment

Re: What sliders to use for PSP? Will all the ones here work?
Hey Nem, do you use Classic or Meter Pitching on the PSP?
It doesn't seem like Classic pitching is the same on the PSP. On the PS3 it's hard as h*ll to control the ball, but on the PSP w/ Classic if feels no different than meter. Has anyone else noticed this????Comment

Re: What sliders to use for PSP? Will all the ones here work?
Played 5 innings with these last night before I went to bed and I liked what I saw. I played as the Cards against the Marlins, and led 5-2 after 5. I didn't get a hit until the 4th, but I was able to hit a 2-run homerun with Glaus and had a 2-run double in the gap with Pujols in the 5th. Wainwright pitched well after allowing 2 solo HRs in the 1st... one was on a 3-0 fastball I left right in the middle of the plate. I drew 2 walks and the Marlins drew 1... overall very pleased and I can't wait to start my season!Villanova Class of 2012

Re: What sliders to use for PSP? Will all the ones here work?
Hey Nem, just played about 5-7 games or so and these are much better than the default sliders but I don't know..the game is still on the easy side. I just jacked up CPU Power to +3 and I had a no hitter against the Braves (with J. Maine as the Mets) in a Spring Training game in the 9th inning with 1 out before it was broken up on an infield hit to D Wright at 3rd. He was just late in throwing him out as I also lowered User throw strength to -3. So after 9 full innings the CPU managed 1 infield hit. (And thats with all pitching aids turned off)
I mean what else can be done for more of a challenge? Seems like we have covered everything we can without making the game ultra unrealistic.
How are the games you have played in Nem, what kind of record do you have?Last edited by Hand76; 07-03-2008, 06:59 PM.Comment
