OH, must say that i ALWAYS pitch to where catcher suggests! he/lps create pitch counts and walks at times. with still decent amount of K's

              Re: Trinity's Vet settings/sliders

+5 on Contact, Timing and Solid Hits seems a bit excessive IMO. I was having a real tough time hitting in my first 10 games or so. I could hardly get any hits or score any runs other than the occasional HR. I tried going down from All-Star to Veteran and it really wasn't much better, so I decided to play with the sliders. I bumped those same 3 categories +2 each (I left everything else at default). In my very next game my offense exploded with an 8 run 2nd inning where I had like 10+ hits. I went on to score 3 or 4 more runs in the later innings to win the game by a landslide. It was the first time since I've had the game (since last Friday) that I was EVER able to have any kind of a rally. Obviously you can't make any conclusions based on 1 inning or 1 game, but it does seem likely that bumping those sliders just +2 had something to do with it. I'd be interested to see if everybody starts having a hit-fest after increasing each by +5.

                Re: Trinity's Vet settings/sliders

Just finished. Played as the Reds and just hit randomize and came up against the Braves.

                ATL 5 6 1
                CIN 2 6 1

                Braves
                McCann: 2 HR (1 Salami), 5 RBI
                Lowe (W) 7.0 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 6 K

                Reds
                Encarnacion: 2 HR, 2 RBI
                Volquez (L) 7.0 IP, 5 H, 4 R, 6 K

Overall, I like these. Very good game until my pitching fell apart late in the game. Both sides had some gap hits and down the line hits. My error killed me as it loaded the bases with 2 outs for McCann. Strike % was good for both starters (77 for Volquez and 68 for Lowe).

                  Are those realistic strike percentages?

They are high- you want it closer to 55-65

That's what I thought. Perhaps cpu pitcher control needs to come down since strike percentage is already at zero.

                        Re: Trinity's Vet settings/sliders

My CPU pitch sliders are right in line with yours.

I take strike percentage all the way down and tick a couple off CPU control.

I've bumped my hitting sliders +1 on Vet and I'm thumping the ball around decently.

My pitching is way too good though. I do walk guys occasionally, but when the CPU does put the ball in play they just aren't making solid contact.

I'm deciding whether I want to go up to all-star or try and buff the CPU hitting on Vet. I'd really like to stay on Veteran because I have my hitting tuned pretty good.

I haven't touched the fielding sliders yet, but I can definitely see that they need to be toned down. Particularly arm strength. Errors seem fine for me so far. I'll tweak arm, reaction and range though.

Sorry for not being able to edit my first post. Remember that I ALWAYS pich to where catcher wants and pitch type. helps with strike % for human. I played about 10-12gms l yesterday and tweaked these to my liking... adjust to urs. here are the changes (alot! some look extreme but like i said its my own likeess and have had gr8 gms.

                          USER
+5 on contact, power, timing, and solid hits
                          -1 fouls
                          -2 rp stam.(may lower more)
                          +5 pitch control, and consistency

                          CPU
-5 on contact, power, timing, and solid hits(decent amount of k's now with good pitchers, dont worry, they still hit HRs! usually gets at least 1 on me per game, sometimes 2.
                          -3 fouls
                          -2 rp stam.
-5 pitch control, consistency, and strike frequency
( I know looks extreme, but helps me draw walks and their pitch count/ strike %)

                          GLOBAL
                          -5 pitch spd still
-4 throwing errors(seemed to be too many)
-5 field run spd, reaction, arm strength(had to be done. still doesnt help a ton. but a litte for hit variety, i.e. balls through the inf more.)

                          Guess pitch 1/4
Pitch callout full(again, u must use for these to work right iIMO)
                          API on
Ump ball/strikes HAS to be variable for realistic play

Once again sorry for not being able to edit on my cell... Will start posting some stats up on games today later on.

after a couple games, one where i destroyed KC 12-3 i had to raise CPU pitch control and consistency.

they are now control as -3, and consistency -2.

Had a gr8 game with that setup vs the yankees. Btw.. these gms are in y indians chise. Post the numbers to these 2 games plus my next gm im playing where its Cliff Lee vs CC so should be fun! Will post in new thread
