ya, i dont like it either. i dont think steal ability has anything to do with it. baserunner spd +1 will prolly help alot. lets try it out and see what happens. wish there was something for baserunner agression or lie u said, throw acc..

Ya... guess pitch off is much more realistic. im lovin classic pitching too! just tap X and enjoy a tru sim gameplay experience

U did get baserunner steal ability at +2 right? too many times im seeing CS for me and against. however, its rare cpu attempts. with auto base running, they attempt for u, but rare, so thinking of bumping frequency up to +1??
Hey play 5 games and we will compare saturday .
I sent you a Friend invite in your pms.
We just cant jump the gun as all teams are different , some dont steal ect .
Ill be back on in a bit

read the description for baserunner speed... explains it all, definately has to be bumped to at least +1 for now maybe +2 if still able to throw out at 3rd.

Ive had it at -4 for almost 2gms now, none yet... guess pitch off is tough! im struggling, 0-0 game thru 4 innings, each team with only 3 hits! gonna keep at it tho, just need to be more patient thats all.

Re: Trinity's FINAL Veteran Settings/Slider set

Ok, I just finished my first game with these sliders and I found them to be pretty good overall. Box Score below

              Cubs(Me)-7
              Soriano, 0-4, 1BB, 2 SO
              Theriot, 1-5
              Lee, 0-4, 1 SO
              Ramirez, 1-4, 2 R,
              Bradley, 3-4, 2 HR, 3 R, 3 rbi, 1 SO
              Soto,1-4
              Johnson, 4-4, 2 HR, 4 rbi, 2 R
              Miles, 1-4, 2B
              Harden, 0-2

              Astros-6
              Matsui,1-4, 1 R, 1 SO, 1 BB
              Tejada, 0-4, 3 SO, 1 BB
              Berkman, 1-4, 1 HR, 3 RBI, 1 R
              Lee, 0-3, 1 SO
              Pence, 1-4, 1 SO
              Blum, 0-4, 2 SO
              Bourne, 1-3, 2 R, 1 BB
              Quintero, 2-2, 1 HR, 2 rbi, 1 BB
              Rodriquez, 1-2, 1 rbi

So out of 18 hits, 7 went for extra-bases. 6 Homers is kind of a lot in one game but it's only been my first game. I noticed pitchers going out of the zone more which is good. I probably should have had more walks personally but I'm so so when it comes to being patient at the plate. Harden got hurt in the 3rd inning(imagine that) and my bullpen ended up being lights out minus the mistake by Samardzija to Berkman. Overall, I'd say a very good game with the new sliders, I'll have to play more games with these to see if they really are accurate but signs are pointing up. BTW, I know the box score isn't that important but I'm a stat freak and felt it should be included.

WOW! just played my most exciting game yet! First game i played with guess pitch off, so was challenging! I'll get better, just need to be more patient heres the stats.. Im the Indians, playing in season mode.

                KC 0 7 0
                CLE 2 9 0

                K. Davies 8ip 7h 0er 0bb 5k

                C. Lee 6.2 7h 0er 2bb 8k

Was tied at zero going into the 9th! two out single by martinez! Ryan Garko steps up, and on a 2-1 count....

WALK OFF HR TO LEFT!!! most exciting gm yet! i love this game now

I got a couple trophies for it, one for walk off win, and other for walk off in style. the animations on the walk off were outstanding! i had to start jumpin with my team even! lol

Is anyone else noticing a ton of past balls with these sliders? I've only played two games so far with this so not a large sample size but in my first game i scored 3 runs on passed balls and my second game I scored 2 on passed balls. And it's not the pitchers because game 1 was Holldiay and game 2 was Santana.

I know two games is not a large sample size but just curious.

I believe I had one passed ball in my first game. Not sure why you had so many...

every so often u get them... i think pitcher confidence, if low plays huge part. i dont see extreme amount of them tho. alot more in the dirt but usually the catcher blocks

Ok. I'm going to play a few more games with this set and see how it goes. Aside from that I'm loving these sliders. Great job!!!

as soon as i can get on a cpu, prolly tmrw i'll edit my first post to show minor minor tweaks from whats posted. most updated is uploaded online.

I just turned the strike zone off now, with using API and pitching where suggested its really not needed. well for pitching anyway, batting really isnt affected either. just trying to get all the "extra" stuff on the screen while playing off. makes for a better looking realistic style of play. can still hit R2 to see strike zone shadow and previous pitches thrown so thats good and helpful.

Yep confidence ! and it can change both ways i mean your flying along and bam your in a jam or you get rocked 1st inning and then you settle down.

To pass ball posted are you meter pitch if not you shouldnt be getting many pass ball unless your doing it ?maybe your pitcher is tired
or your confidence is down ?
                            This game is alive !

btw.. just wanted to say im dangerously becoming addicted to this game! another gr8 gm im playing. different games every time i swear. last game nothin till the walk off, this time its 7-3 in the 6th. scored 5 in 4th to take 5-3 lead as twins were lookin good till that inning.

seeing anything on the first to third throw outs? i turned baserunner spd +1 so far its ok i guess, victoe martinez was thrown out, but hes slow. the ai aggression is too much for that situation, no slider to help that aspect. and cany afford to move speed up much then it might throw rest of base running off
