I am just curious to know what everyone thinks of this mode with no slider tweaks?

I am a handful of games into spring training with the Tigers and am 1-5 but three out of the 6 have been close and I think the reason the first couple were not close was because I was getting used to the feel of the game. The CPU and I get a variety of hits, and the pitching I feel is right on tap.

Anywho, I was just wondering if anyone out thinks like I do about this mode!

I am currently playing legend on default and actually like how it has preformed.

I am using this level as well. I have played 10 games in my franchise using the Redsox and have only one 2 games. I have lost 6 games by 1-2 runs and the others I was blown out. I dont know how it is on other levels but when a pitchers confidence is rattled boy does it show!! I have been taking "notes" on the stats and as of now the only thing I am having issues with is the amount of K's I can get.

I was enjoying legend, but I tried out HOF to see how that played, and I must say that I am liking HOF much better. The main difference with HOF compared to legend is hitting is a little more accurate. I still strike out on HOF against dominate pitchers but I can also make better contact. HOF just plays a better game in my opinion.

if you are 2-8 with the Sox then Legend probably isn't the most accurate representation of baseball. You should definitely try HOF. You will find that hitting is improved. But still get good scores. I have played 2 exhibition games on HOF. My results were: Marlins (Me) vs Nationals (CPU) I lost 8-4. The wind was blowing out at 15mph and I was able to hit 4 homeruns out of 10 total hits.

My second game was Chi Sox (Me) vs Padres (CPU) I was facing Peavy who got 10 K's on me. I hit zero HRs out of 11 hits, but I had 5 doubles. The final score was Chi Sox 3 Padres 2.

Some were just misplaying the monster and letting them get an extra base out of it. I was going to give this level 20-30 games and then go from there. I will definately switch down to HOF if I am 6-24!!

I am not a Red Sox fan, but I bet they will not start 2-8 haha. I'm not knocking you for being 2-8, but Legend mode might start getting frustrating. Here are some more stats from a recent game I had on HOF
