Just got done with my 5th game in a fantasy draft, 14-game season (to hold me over until Knight's rosters are finalized). The results are ridiculously accurate, Psycho!
My squad (St. Louis Cardinals):
Lineup - S.Drew, Kemp, Holliday, Votto, McCann, Sheffield, Gordon, Burriss
Rotation - Halladay, Carpenter, R.Johnson, Maholm, J.Sanchez
Game results:
CIN 2 8 0
STL 4 8 0
STL 3 10 0
HOU 4 10 0
MIL 2 8 0
STL 4 6 0
STL 2 9 0
PIT 7 13 0
ARI 4 9 0
STL 5 11 0
The stats I've been getting have been amazing. The lack of any errors is surprising but knowing how this game goes, I'll have a game soon where both teams will commit 4 or so combined.
Here's a breakdown of last years stats compared to the numbers I've been getting.
Stat - Real 2008 - Show 09
PA - 77.22 - 70.80
R - 9.40 - 7.40
H - 18.24 - 18.40
2B - 3.72 - 3.80
3B - 0.38 - 0.40
HR - 2.06 - 2.00
SO - 13.25 - 13.00
BB - 6.60 - 3.40
E - 1.23 - 0.00
As you can see, all the numbers are insanely accurate after 5 games except for plate appearances, runs, walks and errors. What this shows us is that once the errors even out and my plate discipline gets better (which it usually does after a month or so with the game), the amount of plate appearances and runs generated will increase. These numbers will be just about perfect.
Awesome stuff, PsychoBulk. I'll be back after another 5 games with another report.
