Did you download the latest patch? I've read that some folks are having difficulty stealing bases since the patch. I've only played 2 games since downloading the patch and I've been way behind in both games thus I didn't steal. I needed baserunners!!

hmmm, now that you mention it, I never really had a problem stealing before. I just thought that was when I was using default sliders. Im gonna have to look into that, thanks

Psycho, 2 questions. I was thinking about lower human pitcher control and consistency back down to 5 and was wondering your thoughts on this? Also if i decide to lower pitch speed to lets say 3 what would you recommend changing to compensate for the change?

Thank god I didn't download it. The cons far outweigh the pros without question. This whole debacle has just been a disaster!!!

I'm having a little trouble generating offense with these........I've only played a few games and I'm gonna attribute it to good pitching for now.

But 2-1, 4-1, 3-2 sem to be common scores lately

Anybody upped the user or CPU power at all?

I was using Blzers sliders but decided to give these a try and I LOVE them......I'm just not seeing quite enough power and offense right now.

I'll play more games though and update, just wanted to see if anyone had any tips or ideas.

BTW - I play with pitch speed at 0 and I draw roughly 3 walks per game, so I'm pretty good about being selective and waiting for a good pitch

Do you guys use Power Swing at all?

Trust me, it is there, you just have to give it time. I have noticed when starting a franchise, the first couple of games, I can't hit worth crap and then it all comes around. I exploded on the Angels with the Mariners for 19 hits in the first game of the series and then got 2-hit the next game. You definitely have a wide range of games with these sliders. My pitching was getting roughed up quite a bit so I lowered CPU contact and timing by one and am having some really good games, but I think I am going to have to increase contact and timing back because I have been a little too dominate pitching in the last five games, ERA under 3.00.

throwing errors from 4 to 5
strike zone off

HUM
contact 4 down to 3
timing 5 down to 4
pitch control 6 down to 5
pitch consistency 6 down to 5

CPU
timing 4 up tp 5
solid hits 4 up to 5

for any of you guys playing on veteran what changes have you made? im thinking about going down to veteran and im thinking im going to have to increase the sliders for CPU hitting.

I know I asked this before, but what rosters per OS are you all using with these sliders? I see one named KnightsTest, is this it(everyone says they are using knights but I would like an exact name per onlinePS3)? It seems like none of my pitchers have fastballs now they just have hard sinkers/splitters. Any help would be much appreciated.

All of Knights current releases are there. As far as the fastball thing, all versions except v6 have edits to pitchers where "fastball" movement is taken more into consideration rather than the fastball pitch itself. That's why guys have pitches other than a fastball.

I'm not sure that they are all on the roster vault braz. If you check the Fullminors discussion thread in the rosters forum it should say if they are posted.

Why is it almost everytime I try to take a lead at first base most of the time I get picked off?? Very frustrating!!!!!!
