    No, just wait.

Im 24-14 with Detroit and through 25-30 games was also batting over .300.

Now, after 38 games, im down to .287 and slumping.

Trust me, slumps will come and realism will kick in, stick with it

If you want you can do what I did, PsychoBulk knows more about this stuff than I do but what I did was go up to Hall of Fame using these sliders. I was hitting .285 as a team on All Star, thus far on Hall of Fame it's around .265. I'm only 15 games or so into my season though, I ended up having to start a new franchise. Hitting on Hall of Fame is a tad bit tougher though.

You shouldn't have to change any of the sliders if you want to do this, I did go and take baserunner speed up a notch to 6 but that's only because I've decided to use auto baserunning and I'm trying to see if I can cut down on the baserunners making to many outs at 3rd base. I gave manual baserunning a shot but it's just to hard for me, I can't do it. So I'm hoping the one slider adjustment will help.

        That's better......HOF level, I won 2-1 against the Mariners. CLE(me) 5 hits, SEA 4 hits.

One HR by SEA, none by me. The two runs were off an RBI single, and an RBI double down the line.

Tough level, but at least it wasn't a hit parade. I'm still playing around, and I may still go down to All Star. But one game on HOF felt alot more realistic.

How do you guys use the power swing?
My rule of thumb is to only use the power swing when I'm 2 balls up on the pitcher e.g 2-0, 3-1 or 3-0.
Also a quick question, with runners in scoring position how do you guys approach you at-bat? having trouble getting guys in.

Very rarely use the PS, dont need it, hit plenty of bombs/doubles/triples without. On occasion when a game is over either way ill use it for a bit of fun but hardly ever.

I find pitching is getting a little too easy with these sliders. I also am starting to average around 10 hits a game. Anything I can do to tone this down. My last 10 games I am 9-1 winning by about 3-4 runs each game without much of a threat from the opposition.

The MLB average hits per game was around 9.5 in 2008.

See the reply from blackrazr on hits, nothing to worry about there.

Teams go on streaks, it happens, the Phils just won 10 straight with an ERA around 2, it happens...slumps will come, trust me, especially when you play better teams.

Just want to ask that how much do game results vary with these sliders? I've played 3 games (yeah, I know, far too few to really judge a slider set) with these, and each game has ended with a one run difference (won one, lost two). And in each and every one of these games I got something like 14-16 hits. They were all against the Cubs, so I'll have to try these against different opponents and pitchers, but just thought I'd ask this already.

Just had a question about pitch counts. Me and the computer never seem to walk anyone with these sliders. This aspect doesnt seem too different than default. Ill probably throw 20 balls out of 100 and still not get punished for it. I can pinpoint almost everything with average pitchers and the computer doesnt seem to be to wild at all. Maybe 1 walk per game. Any suggestions? Everything else about this set is good. Thanks.
