Just out of curiosity what is the biggest difference between the two modes? I never really played around w/ AS.

For me, it seems that with HoF moving the L stick when hitting is much more important. I tried playing some games not moving the L stick on HoF and could not hit anything. And timing is more restricted, obviously.

I think i am going to move human power up one. Other than that i am enjoying the hell out of your sliders psycho. I am having pitcher duels, blowouts, close games, etc. Now if i can only draw more walks.

PS: is version 1.3 going to be your final set or do you think you are going to make a few more tweaks? If so are you going to post it for download?

Theres certainly no 1.4 on the horizon yet Jay, everything appears to be sound at the moment, that said who knows in future?

I've been using these with Veteran. I thought they were for veteran level no?

They work on both veteran, all star, and also reported to work well on HOF.

I think somebody else uploaded them..but either way, it literally takes 1 minute to manually adjust the sliders. It's not like there's a million of them

Great, thanks for the feedback. I've been playing with the default sliders and I'm not getting the results I want as far as hitting goes. I get plenty of hits but they're all singles up the middle. I pull some line drives but I never hit bloopers or blasts into the alley for doubles or triples. Also, the CPU always comes back to make up the run deficiency after about 5 - 6 innings of pitching a shut out and I have CPU comeback off.

Anyway, that's my little noob rant

me too, i was using all default for about 2 wks of exihibition games on Vet, w/ 2 of the same teams and my team slugging was low, i was hitting just singles and the occasional HR... i jacked up the human HR from 5 to six, and played a few games, was a bit better... then i came upon this thread... slugging is up a bit overall now. but making a bit less contact.

Played first two games of the season w/ Yankees tonight w/ sliders on AS. Here are the box scores.

Game #1
---------
Yankees: 2-10-0
O's: 3-9-0

Game #2
---------
Yankees: 8-13-0
O's: 3-9-1

Second game was close until the 9th - I scored 5 runs - 2 were on an error which lead to more runs.

So far really good stuff - will post more games as I go along.
