DJ, thanks for that but remember before we can make any real analysis it takes 20/30 games

I know, I will start posting results from each series and then we can see what the results are after 30 or so games.

Excellent mate, thanks, also your team averages for hitting/slg/ERA/BB/K both ways etc over that time would be great as well

Hey PsychoBulk, are you playing with CPU Comeback Handicap On or Off?

          Thanks, ahead of time.

I played a few games with some minor adjustments. I bumped up power by 1 for me and I turned the pitch speed all the way down...okay, so the latter is not very minor, but I need to be able to read these pitches. I plan on bumping it up as I get comfortable.

I won 5 to 3 vs. Brewers (me Giants) with 12 hits. Brewers had 10 hits. I would have had more runs if I didn't completely suck at baserunning, but I was overall pleased with the results. I'll play a few more like this and see if the hits are too much. I was most pleased by the fact that I got some opposite field HR's and a couple gappers for extra base hits (that's what I have been most lacking).

Hey Doc, if you're using these sliders on Veteran I have a suggestion....

If you raise your power by 1 then you should try lowering timing by 1. When I first raised power by 1 from where Bulk has it set I was seeing too many HR's, so I lowered my timing by 1 and over the last 5 games it seems to have evened things out pretty good.
I did have one series vs Boston with a ton of HR for both teams but that's because the wind was blowing out 20+mph to left. I hit 5 in one game, all by lefties and all opposite field over the green monster. I was actually aiming that way to use the wind. They also hit 4 in the same game with the wind.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll give my current settings a few game and if I start seeing too many HR's, I'll lower the timing.

Is your pitch speed set at Psycho's default?

No, I have my pitch speed at 0 (all the way left)
I don't have good enough reflexes (for a few different reasons) to play with it higher.

I have tried these sliders on veteran but hitting around .360 with Seattle after 15 games. All-star seems a little too hard, feels like I can't score any runs but I guess I will have to give it another shot so I can find a happy medium. Someone said that the CPU does not feel as dangerous on Veteran, tell that to King Felix as he gave up five bombs in his last start and I lost 13-8 to the Rays.

.360 as you know is way too much, go to All-Star and stick it out, im hitting .284 through my last 9 games and all is fine, obviously a lot of it is down to user skill but show patience and you will step up to the plate on All-Star im sure of it mate

Keep the feedback coming people, especially those using these sliders for a few weeks now.

I played a game with these last night.

I have a fantasy draft squad, Houston Astros against the Chicago Cubs.

                              It's Peavy(HOU) vs. Dempster(CHC)

Peavy is pitching an absolute gem through six and I'm winning 2-1 going into the 7th. Peavy loses total composure and allows 5 runs to score in the 7th. In the 8th I fire back with a 2-run homer from Kevin Youkilis. The score is 6-4. In the 9th I get 2 men on base with 2 outs and then I strike out.

                              It was a great game!!!

I'm using your sliders in the RTTS mode on All Star difficulty as a pitcher. I'm in my second year and i'm in AAA. So far I really like the sliders on the games default difficulty the fielding errors were driving me nuts and i had an 2.6ish era. It just didn't quite feel right.

The biggest problem I seem to have is that any hit to the gap has a 75% chance of being a triple when in reality most should be doubles, any suggestions?

BTW i've played about 12 games with these sliders, and I see about 1-3 triples a game, but i've seen as many as 3-4 in back to back games. It drives me nuts.
