      .288 (3rd in MLB)
      65 doubles (7th)
      4 triples (15th)
      26 home runs (17th)
      72 walks (18th)

      Loving it.
Why are my HR numbers so disproportionate?!

Even AFTER taking contact to 2 and timing to 3 AND power down to 5, I was hitting them at a pace of almost 3 a game!

I'm now may start the whole thing over (again) with Knight V5, and power 4, contact 2, timing 3.

.288 seems high for a BA, you must have a few players in the .350, .400 mark?

This is really embarrassing, but i'm going to post my dismal stats on here i'm really struggling. After playing 20 games in Franchise mode on All Star my team (Pirates) stats are as follows:

Team Bat Avg. 214 (Rank 29th)
        Runs 44 (Rank 30th)
        Hits 109 (Rank 29th)
        Doubles 14 (Rank 29th)
Home Runs 5! (Rank 30th) That is correct right 5 freaking home runs!
        RBI 42 (Ranked 30th)
Base on Balls 17 (Rank 30th)
        Strikeouts 96 (Rank 12th)
        Slugging .290 (Rank 30th)
        On Base % .251 (30th)

        Pitching
        ERA 6.02 (30th)
        Hits Allowed 176 (30th)

Aren't those some pretty putrid numbers?

I think I may need to slide down to Vet and try that. I just figured I would give it 20 games to see for sure ya know?

I have only played one game with these sliders but the game was pretty enjoyale, even though I lost.

Need to get some more games in to get a feel for this set, but I will keep you posted.

Really having trouble hitting and conversely, pitching far too well with these sliders. I have 27 games into my franchise and have been in a BUNCH of 2-1, 1-0 type games and just got done going 15 innings where no runs where scored by either side.

Playing on ALL-STAR and am not striking out a ton. Just everything I hit seems to be some sort of dribbler or a homerun (on the occasions I score).

No. You're the Pirates. They're 12-19 right now in real life, and in the bottom 4 of almost every statistical category. Play it out, and get better/make the team better.

Or choose a better team if you want better statistics.

You using meter and take the strike zone off?

Ok thanks, I just wanted to make sure that it works without the left stick, because I don't use it as well.

your stats do indeed look spot on, your average is maybe a bit high, but anything else is great. How about your K-rate (for pitching and hitting) and Foul Balls per game? Foul Balls should be in the range of about 25-30 per game, but I always have much less.

.288 after only 30 games is fine, not even league leading, just good hitting. It will come down, i have 132 games left yet

Even checking real MLB, after 34 games as of today, the Blue Jays are hitting .294, so as i say, this early its fine, with another three teams still hitting above .282

Alonzo, ill put my pitching stats up later, will go and check them.

For those of you thinking these sliders are a bit too juiced (I was one of them as I was hitting .318 with 50 homeruns with the Mariners after 31 games)...........

DO NOT USE POWER SWING, THIS INFLATES THE NUMBERS!!!!

I hit 9 homeruns (3 with Beltre and 3 with Griffey) in one game. I used to use the power swing in hitters' counts, but now I am only using the X button and having fantastic results.

                              Loving these sliders!!!

I am 28 games in with Boston (15 wins - 13 losses)....I just lost 5 straight and had Papelbon blow back to back saves, one of them was the result of 2 consecutive throwing errors in the 9th by Lowrie...I then won the game on a walk off saingle by Jason Bay.

I had a 16 K game by Dice-K vs. Tampa, he was absolutely filthy.

Pedroia was hitting .294 w/ 3 HR when he broke a bone in his foot and is out 1-2 months.

Ortiz is hitting .202 with 9 HR
                              Bay is hitting .269 w/ 10 HR
                              Youkilis is hitting .298 w/ 9 HR
                              Drew is hitting .307 w/ 3 HR
Varitek, Lowrie, Lugo, Ellsbury, Lowell are all hittting under .250

Changing reaction will affect the gameplay a lot, leave it as it is.

API, mostly, but often shake the catcher off, pitcher confidence is on yes.

gminnick is right, you dont need power swing, i use it once in a blue moon, i hit 4 jacks in a game last night making it 30 in 31 games for the season and not one with Power Swing, in fact out of the 30 only 1 has been with Power Swing and that was when i was 9-0 up in a game and in a hitters count and used it for a laugh.

                                You dont need it.
