DEFAULT LEGEND

Anyone been using default legend and playing with it for a while. I get pretty good stats I like to think. I was just wondering what all of you out there think of default legend and what not.

Yeah - You know for me, it is hard to win on Legend cause you have to pay so close attention to every thing in the game. Pitches to throw at the right times, ect. Ultimate sim experience though for me so far.

legend is for the hardest core gamers that are dead-on in competition and very little fun...

usually all-star is the best but for tweaks with sliders is a must.

I personally use hall of fame but i tweak the sliders because i get strike to many people out on all-star

I like default legend. Been getting a wide variety of results. Its hard to K the AI, but usually can K them between 4 and 8 times a game. With 8 being high. Don't fall behind in the count and groove pitches though or you'll be toast quick.

I learned that mighty quick as well. Sometimes it's not intentional...I try to throw a backdoor slider and it goes right down the heart of the plate.

You are better off throwing a 1st pitch strike down the heart than falling behind. Ever try to play the Astros in that Pinball Stadium of theirs? Its BRUTAL. Fall behind to any of those clowns except Bourne and its gone.

Once you get that 1st strike, try to hit the corners and on strike 2 I usually go to a changeup low, some high cheese or a backdoor slider. But with 2 strikes I usually will only use a breaking ball if it is one of the pitchers best 2 pitches, no sense in hanging nything.

Default legend is just ridiculous. Even with lowered CPU sliders, the CPU BS happens way too much. I can't play on any other level because hitting is just too easy on anything else.

It may well be. Default Legend is extremely challenging, but needs no tweaks to play a realistic game if you're extremely good at the game.

I think Default Legend plays a great game of baseball. I also agree with OLI that these default sliders are the best in any sports game to date.

Legend makes you think about EVERY aspect of your game. I see myself moving my defense more and using my TOP pitches when I need to get a strikeout or a must have out. It was a great addition to this years game. SCEA easily gets my vote for best sports game of the year hands down.
