I tried a few slider sets here and they actually made the game incredibly frustrating.

This slider set helps make this game an incredible experience. Really a sweet set. I switched to classic pitching, but I'm still getting nice results, just my pitcher is about as erratic as the CPU

cool thing about these sliders is that you really have to work hard against the top notch front line starters and the back end 4 and 5 starters are not as overwhelming...very cool

TNKNGM, What would you recommend for user pitching settings for people who use classic? I was going to bump up all user pitching sliders up one and go from there. Also do I need to bump up the cpu pitching sliders as well?

I actually just played a game with your default sliders and they seem to work for classic pitching as well. Jurrjens went for 7 strong innings giving up one run on 5 hits, striking out 7, and allowing 2 walks. I believe his strike to ball ratio was like 60 - 35 or so. Medlen came in a blew it for me but it was a great game! I actually drew 3 walks in that game and the only adjustment I made was lowering striking frequency by 1

Yup - loving the variety and feel to these sliders right now

I'm playing alll exhibition games but may start a season with some scrub team while I wait for Knights rosters and the Batter Walkup Music Pack.....once those are out I will start my Red Sox franchise.

Losing as Boston 2-0 to KC right now in the 4th - Grienke is dealing against me and the Royals are just scraping hits off of Lester....all slap hits and a couple steals - GREAT BASEBALL!!

Boston(ME) 1 @ Oakland(CPU) 2

Old fashioned pitchers duel between Josh Beckett and Ben Sheets. Oakland scraped together a few hits to get 2 runs in the 3rd inning and that was all they would need. Beckett was nasty in this game as he struck out 10 hitters in 6.2 innings before leaving after 117 pitches. The Oakland hitters did a good job of working deep counts and getting Beckett tired. Oakland brought in Andrew Bailey for the save in the 9th and he dominated me by striking out the side.
