I had to look twice at this picture, I thought it was a picture taken from TSN. Then I realized it was a video from your game. This game is beautiful.

Just had a ridiculously awesome game against Boston

But like, it felt realistic. It wasn't a homer at will game. It was both teams working down pitchers and just destroying mistakes. Both teams only had 2 HR each, it was just a lot of singles and doubles. I'll post the highlight reel once I figure out how to upload it, but these are awesome.

So far so good.

My favorite part is the varience.

After 2 games, scratching and clawing to plate a runner, David Wright clubs a 3 run bomb in the 3rd.

The ball just leaps off of the bat at Coors..my god.

I gave these a run on legend pitching and legend hitting.. (lowered fielder speed n reaction to 0/5 I think tho)

pretty good results. final scores were NYY 6 Twins 1 and Brewers 4 Marlins 3. the CPU didn't hurt me as much as I thought they would. I pitched gems with Vasquez and Dave Bush (lol). Vasquez only gave up 4 hits I think and 3 were Mauer. Bush gave up a 2 run bomb from Hanley through 7. I will lower the pitch control a tad.. should make it tougher.

in the games I played, the big sluggers didnt do much damage.. people like Swisher/Casey McGhee/Greg Zaun/Granderson were scoring most of the runs lol... strange but it felt realistic. the big names never got much to hit from the CPU.. I guess thats to be expected.

bottom line, still got some kinks to iron out before I'm fully satisfied with the sliders but it's gettin there.

I've played 25 games so far and I haven't had a triple. I play as the O's, and have played a series at Yankees, Red Sox, A's, Rays and M's ...

The CPU has 3 triples against me, but that was due to my fielding ... diving for the ball is too tempting

Any ideas on how I can see more triples? I've been playing on veteran, but will raise it to all star (for pitching and hitting) the next game as I just swept the sox at fenway, 5-2, 2-1 (mutusz spun a gem) and 6-4 ... On veteran I'm averaging about 10-12 hits per game ... But they seem to be mostly singles or HR's ... not enough doubles and definitely not one triple in 25 odd games.

Putting solid hits to 0 seems pretty low... whta happens if you keep them at default but change the other things?

You will start to rip the ball all over the yard. Massive line drive hits into the alleys and ripping balls down the line for doubles. Default was too high for me, and zero just seemed to weak. I think I am at 2 right now.

Fluff - maybe switching to All Star will make a difference. I've only had the opportunity to play 3 games, and in my third game last night I had 2 triples and 3 doubles in one game.

i play as the NYY... i had 2 triples in 1 game lol. couldn't believe it... haven't had any the past several days. for me, i was wondering when doubles would come... they've started for me this weekend.

Yes they are, PerfectSlidersV3.1 is the name on there, were the top rated in the vault a couple of days ago, not sure if they are now.

Buccholz just did 2 4 pitch walks and two 5 pitch walks in my last game Vs the Red Sox ... I left pitcher control and consistency at default though, I think these slider versions say 6 and 7 respectively for them.

On default I see plenty of walks and 4 pitch walks at that.

I just realised I took base running speed down a click ... lol that might have something to do with it?

I played 2 games on All star just now, and there is definitely a wider range of hits going down ... I hit an off speed pitch down the 3rd baseline, It just lofted Beltre's head and then rolled weakly into the corner of fenway. Jacoby got there to damn quick for me to get my first triple, but anyone else fielding LF, and I woulda been on 3rd I reckon.

My next game is at Yankee stadium.

I love being the Orioles ... It seems every game I'm up against it!

I don't understand why people are changing settings to Psycho's sliders and referring to them as the Perfect slider set. Once you change things to your liking or preferences, they are no longer what he recommended and posted. At that point they are your set.

I've seen every possible combination of recommendations...raise pitcher consistency...lower it. Raise contact...lower it. Raise control...lower it. etc...

Just goes to show no one set is best for all. We all have our preferences and what we think is "real". This thread had gone off track since people are changing things up on their own.

I pitch on All-Star but hit on HOF...I'm planning on using these sliders...does anyone know if these will work well with HOF too??

Im told they work just fine on HOF as well metsman, give them a whirl, not just 1 or 2 games obviously.

Cool...will do. I've been playing sparingly since I got the game cuz I don't want to burn myself out on it before franchise...but I need to start practicing and finding a slider set that will give me the most realistic results once Knight's rosters come out.
