Man, how are you guys doing with the pitch speed at default? I'm 30, know baseball well but just can't keep up with fastballs even when I'm looking for them.

I'm always trying to work the count and looking for walks too, but dang, it's just impossible to really get good wood on a fastball unless I'm totally sitting on it and even get a bit lucky.

FWIW, when I play online, these sliders have trained me to absolutely CRUSH the ball with the online sliders.

I play a lot of RTTS offline, could this be the problem? Is my guy's plate awareness affecting this sort of thing?

If you're having trouble keeping up with the fastballs, drop the pitch speed slider down a bit. I only have problems with the fastballs when the pitcher also has an off speed pitch as low as 80 MPH. A 99 MPH heater with a 80 MPH changeup/breaking ball just kills me.

Ok,Whith Psychobulk 'Perfect Slider' it work slow for me. First for the ratio of HR..I play Whith O's Franchise and have just came 9 HR in first month of action That's low I'm good seeing the ball and just wait for or protect the plate but...That's work good for many point however, maybe too foul ball also..anyway i Look for more working about slider in different spot of the game and i being to post that in a couple..i've almost forgot < for the layoff throw never came to take a out a man.

I'm currently in the same position with a 38-8 record and my win streaks have gone as high as 11. With that being said, I've been having a good time with these sliders as I know any hiccup in my game and the CPU WILL capitalize, so any game I win is well earned. I have recently lost 2 of my last three after having a 3 week break from the game. I doubt I will go up in difficulty.

Im up at HOF now, despite these being designed on All-Star they work perfectly fine on HOF.

play his sliders on legend they give a great challenge,his sliders work on legend as well, so those of you who dont want to dominate, i reccomend u up the difficulty so u can get the desired stats you guys want, just a word of thought,Thanks.........Nasa

I did try Legend for a little bit, but I was striking out way too much (like 14x a game) and not striking out enough opposing batters.

sorry to hear that but theres no problem on my end everybody skill level is different,i strike out about 5 to 8 a game,i also strike out the cpu 5 to 8 a game what i do is throw the batter off balance and if i didnt throw him a pitch he didnt see in that at bat, i throw it and on a average the cpu will k on a 6 or 8 pitch at bat, be slective when ur batting dont swing at every pitch, the object here is to work the pitcher don let him work you, when you work the count ur bound to get a good pitch to hit or a walk i walk 3 to 4 a game..
