I'm using these sliders and loving them.

Only thing I changed was I pumped the pitch speed all the way up to 10 because I was early on EVERYTHING LOL... Even those 98mph Zumya Fastballs...

I really feel like I have to be sitting on that heat now to get around on it, just like a real MLBer... And with it being set at 10, it makes those Changeups and Curveballs even more deadly...

Anyone else Max out the Pitch speed???

I'm having some issues as of late. Over a month or go I installed some new sliders and its really have been reflecting my game play.

For over a month now I still can't catch up to Fast balls and i'm sometimes "Very late" on even change ups. I've tried to readjust to the settings but now its like I swing before the pitch is even thrown just to try to get perfect timing. Thats what it feels like. Strange thing is ive installed like 10 different sliders since then and still have the same issue. I go to a friends house and play him in exhibition and I hit like 7 homers and all my hits are really early. In my version I strike out 20 times a game. I've tried to delete the game from my hard drive and reinstall it and nothing.

What am I doing wrong? Can I reset my game to default settings for online play?

Has anyone tried these with RAZR's pitch edits? It is much harder to hit as most guys now have running fastballs or 2-seam fastballs and virtually no one has a 4-seam. I was wondering is Psycho would consider a change.

I have this question as well.

I think I can handle the extra movement on the pitches with Psycho's sliders as-is.

The thing I wonder about is how the proposed changes to consistency and strike frequency by Razr will mesh/not mesh with this otherwise very fine set of sliders.

This is Psycho's thread for Psycho's sliders, but if there is any room for a brief discussion about their relevance for the new roster set, I'd be delighted to know what some think.

And if it's too far afield, all apologies.

I was wondering the same thing as well...Razrs edits have decreased stamina drastically and he is saying to increase stamina and decrease strike frequency to 0 as well as other changes...do these work with these sliders?

set it to zero, as in 'default' on the slider, or -5, as in all the way to the left?

This game is frustrating me beyond belief. I am unable to score runs as there seems to be a limit of two per game. The last ten games I've played I'll score two runs early in the game and then I know that the computer will inevitably score one or more runs to win in the late innings. I am seeing zero variety.

I lowered the pitch speed by two as I was having trouble judging pitches, and it's helped me be able to make contact, but it's like the CPU refuses to allow me to get extra base hits making it impossible to score any runs.

I've gone from absolutely loving this game to wanting to smash it in a million pieces in the span of two weeks.

I hope so, but I'm about 5-25 in my last thirty games. I welcome the challenge, but it would be nice to have a hit fest and score eight or more runs against the computer once in a while, something I've yet to do since the game was released.

What team are you using? Are you striking out a lot?

I've played with nearly every team in the game. At first I was striking out a lot, not being able to judge pitches, but now I'm doing far better, only I can't string together hits to score runs.

yeah, not stringing hits is my prob. overall... thus i'm dependent on the long ball to win.
