Nomo, I asked in my RTTS thread, but I'll ask here instead. In RTTS, if I use your sliders and change the User sliders to my liking, will they apply to my whole team or only when my player is hitting?

Re: Stats-based sliders for CPU
No worries....
If you don't want too much wind effects, I'd keep it at or below 3 (out of 10). I think its effects on both visual (how fly balls travel) and the number of HRs get really exaggerated above that setting. But this is as much a personal preference though.Comment

Re: Stats-based sliders for CPU
It wasn't one of the test items that I did but I doubt it will. If anything raising the pitcher consistency slider should reduce the ball 4 in the dirt errors (just because that slider should decrease the occurrence of errant pitches). But don't know you want the trade off of making the pitchers even more like Gregg Maddux as they already are.
I've seen like 4 or 5 errors of this kind in a single game! But the devs have said it has been fixed internally and it won't make it to MLB 12.Comment

Re: Stats-based sliders for CPU
I really haven't done much since the last update:
http://www.operationsports.com/forum...post2042505133
mainly because I'm fairly satisfied by the set. I've been playing with the set myself (except the pitch speed at zero for practicing online hitting; online pitch speed is even lower), and I think what I would really change is just Manager Hook. I notice with my setting starters pitch too deep, often throwing > 120 pitches. So I probably use MH = 5...Attached FilesComment

Re: Stats-based sliders for CPU
I am using your set for a HUM manager v CPU game and the CPU has pitched just fine against me but my pitchers have walked 8 guys now through 7 innings.
Is this because I selected "manage game" and didn't just leave it as cpu v cpu?Comment

Re: Stats-based sliders for CPU
Wonder if these will work for this year's game? I want to go ahead and dive right into my franchise since I play MOM. I'm gonna play some spring training games with these and see how it plays.Comment

Re: Stats-based sliders for CPU
I wouldn't start with this set for 12... I think each iteration of game is tuned every year, so I don't think this one will work very well. If I were you, I'd just start with the default sliders.Comment

Re: Stats-based sliders for CPU
Yes I'm just thinking about what stats to track and not right now. Not sure if I'll make a new thread or not if other guys also do CPU vs CPU stuff (in which case I'll probably just post there).
I need to sort through a bunch of messages right now...Comment

this will prolly be my last question regarding your sliders.
