A couple things to make things a little easier. For hitting I use situational Guess Pitch 1/4. If I get a 2-0 count with RISP, or any 3 ball count I DONT use guess pitch. You will be amazed how many extra base hits or wheelhouse contact you get. Also USE defensive swing on 0-2 1-2 counts. For pitching if your using pulse turn off warm up pitching. You will save your eyes and it really hasnt shown to make a diff for me. Just a couple suggestions

I never use Guess Pitch, ever, to me its cheating (personal view, i know not all share this) and it really doesnt help people to hit in general.

Contact swing is indeed your friend in 2 strike counts.

Lived and worked in and around Michigan for a few years back at the start of the century

Got into Baseball (as it was on all the time), fell in love, Tigers were the closest team (lived in Ann Arbor for some time), got to totally understand all the nuances, few years back (2008) discovered The Show, bam....here i am

I see what your saying but I only use it for location and most hitters guess that in real life. Also it keeps my stats in line , so to me striking out 12 times a game but saying I didnt use guess pitch doesnt really serve a point

They do but they dont get told they are right before the pitch is thrown lol.

The thing with GP, even if you guess wrong, you know whats not coming, as well as what is coming if you get it right.

Im not judging anyone for using it, each to his own though

I love these sliders but my offense is non-existent. What should I change to help me hit better? I'm following just like the set except for pitch speed at 2.

I'll use guess pitch only if a guy has a huge curveball or a change that drops a foot. I can't lay off those pitches low in the zone, so that way I'll know whether it's down there or not. Of course then I"ll usually K on a high heater

Am I going to see walks like I do now is the problem. On HoF, the CPU pitcher nibbles more and I don't want to lose that part of the game.

Are you using the same sliders, just on All-Star?

might have to drop to all star for hitting...generated 6 hits of offence over 16 innings against the mets 3rd starter and the astros 5th!

Pipe dream: a good cricket game! (still)
