Shanice's CPU VS CPU SLIDERS for MLB The Show 12

Over the past 4 or 5 years the game played very well straight out of the box, It does this year too, but I felt a few tweaks were in order and needed. So I decided to play around with the Sliders.

This is the updated release of these sliders as of April 12th. Please play some games and give feedback, I feel like these sliders are getting very close to being a final version. For me, The sliders are playing great. The variety from this game is fantastic.

This can be used for All Star or Hall Of Fame Difficulty Levels.

(All Adjustements I make are in Red)

CPU Contact - 6
CPU Power - 5
CPU Timing - 5
CPU Foul Frequency - 3
CPU Solid Hits - 3
CPU Starter Stamina - 5
CPU Reliever Stamina - 3
CPU Pitcher Control - 4
CPU Pitcher Consistency - 4
CPU Strike Frequency - 3
CPU Manager Hook - 5
CPU Pickoffs - 6
Pitch Speed - 4
Fielding Errors - 5
Throwing Errors - 5
Fielder Run Speed – 2
Fielder Reaction - 5
Fielder Arm Strength - 3
Baserunner Speed - 4
Baserunner Steal Ability - 4
Baserunner Steal Frequency - 6
Wind - 4
Injury Frequency - 5

I'll give them a shot. Im still looking for MOM sliders where all the runs arent scored on home runs.

Why do you have CPU Pickoffs and Baserunner Steal Frequency at '5' each? Out of the box, the CPU never tries to pick off runners (okay, not really sure about cpu vs cpu, but in manage only mode it is fact) and VERY RARELY does it attempt to steal (even with runners with high speed ratings).

Why do you have CPU Pickoffs and Baserunner Steal Frequency at '5' each? Out of the box, the CPU never tries to pick off runners (okay, not really sure about cpu vs cpu, but in manage only mode it is fact) and VERY RARELY does it attempt to steal (even with runners with high speed ratings).

I don't know what game you are playing, but the CPU is pretty aggressive and successful in my games (Default).

LOL, yes they will. They're very close to Default. A couple tweaks here and there barely change the overall experience.

That's what they say. However I tend to think that there is some impact. Therefore it's up to u to decide

Brian@SCEA who programmed the pitching/batting gameplay engine has written in the forum that the difficulty setting does not matter for CPU vs. CPU games.

I also tested if using several different combinations of difficulty levels matter or not, and as far as stats are concerned I cannot detect any difference at all.

In the end people believe in whatever they believe in, fact or not.... Life continues regardless.

A: In AI vs. AI games the difficulty setting has no effect. This includes Manager Mode. For the purpose of what I handle, AI doesn't know its playing against an AI opponent.
