Mainly using pulse pitching. I don't think I changed any numbers.

It's Wrigley, people will always come, so don't give me too much credit.

I dont think I've ever had this much trouble striking the cpu out, I can get a few games of 7 or 8, but some teams only like 3 or 4. I might turn the timing slider down, maybe that will help, as my pitching hasnt been so good as of late so i dont think it will be that bad, ERA is up to 3.51 now.

          Chicago Spectator

          Volstad roughed up in loss

Chris Volstad roughed up as the Cubs fall to the Brewers.

Chicago got roughed up by Milwaukee yesterday afternoon, losing handily 7-0 before 41,160 fans at Wrigley Field. Steve Clevenger went 1-1 in what was an unusually quiet offensive day. Chris Volstad struggled mightily on the mound, giving up 6 runs on 8 hits, in only 3 innings of work to take the loss, making him 0-1 on the year. Manager Dale Sveum offered up some comments about the game. "We knew runs would be in short supply against a starter like Shaun Marcum, and we just weren't able to push across enough of them."

Game 2 of the series is tonight, as Paul Maholm will go for the Cubs against the Brewers' Chris Narveson.

Find out your exact number for K/9. If it's anywhere from 5-7, you're fine. If you're below 5 or above 7, your either not doing something right or you're doing something very well.

                I'm exactly at 5 K/9...205 through 41 games.

It should be at about 6, so you're not too far off. One more strikeout per game and you'd be sitting in great shape. I would just try to really focus when you get to 2 strikes. If nothing changes, lowering timing 1 click would be the way to go, or possibly foul tendency.

Alright, I didnt even think about Foul Frequency at all, I'll try to focus more, I don't really wanna mess with my set.

Okay guys, I'm ready to start my Franchise. Oh my god this Call of Duty ad is pissing me off. Cubs franchise, AllStar set for sliders with pulse pitching. I'll post the opening day box score after I complete it. Stay tuned!

Yes that COD ad is aggravating as hell. But i got a question for ya....ok so Im playing on HOF (Pitching), as of late I have been seeing the CPU comeback a lot and it is pissing off. I know it is baseball and it happens sometimes but EVERYTIME i get a 5 or 6 run lead, the CPU will comeback.....I see that you are playing on AS now, do you think that I should do that, is there THAT much of a difference in AS and HOF (for pitching)?

Edit: OR should I just bump down some of the CPU hitting? I still want to be challenged...

I'll say what Heroes told me...on All Star you lose because you made mistakes, on HOF you'll lose more because the CPU is just better than you are. Personally, I am loving the AS set.

                              Did I say that?

                              Yeah...sounds like me.

Just fair warning: Every time even the implication of the word "Heroes" enters a thread, I can sense it...Yes, including discussion (and especially photos) of Hayden Panettiere.

Or...Think of it like that Bloody Mary game scene from Paranormal Activity 3. Except with less little girls and techie man-boys involved.

                              Or is there????
