    Any thoughts?
I had the same issue at the default speed. Everytime I'd think my timing was late, it would be classified as "good" by the OSD. It's going to take some getting used to I guess.

Maybe you're right with the "timing" slider needing to be raised? I just don't want it to become easier, baseball is a challenging game, I want my simulation to replicate that. But ultimately I'd rather adjust my personal patience level than blast up the pitch speed, if I turn it up higher than default then I'm not recognizing pitches and just hitting "x" and praying to make contact.

You guys using 10 "pitch speed" must be reaction time studs.

The thing that's kind of frustrating is I very rarely early on anything except breaking balls in MLB 12. I'm not saying that I had perfect timing on everything, but what I am saying is I had a lot more variety in my swings than I'm experiencing now. But with the expanded timing window, something needs to be tweaked. I don't want to make the game easier by any means. If anything, I'm trying to get comparable results to what I had in MLB 12.

I really think what they did this year was this: set the uppermost slider value(10) as the real life setting, and then go slower from there. I've been in the batting cage in the game for the last couple of days, and the only setting that makes guys like Chapman, Strasburg and Verlander, feel overpowering is 10.

I bumped Pitch Speed up to 8 last night, and got better (ish) results. Definitely more swing variety than at 7.

Yeah I feel like Pitch Speed is quite slow this year. I used to play with it on 2 or 3, now I am on 7 and batting comfortably. And this is on Hall of Fame mind you, where the difficulty level already comes with a boost to speed.

I know part of it is the re-tooled timing window, since in previous years, incorrect bat speed and swing times forced people to lower pitch speeds, but still, I'd like to see increased speeds in the future.

I have been playing with pitch speed at 0 since MLB The Show 07. Works for me.******** src="chrome://piccshare/content/piccshare-min****" type="text/javascript"></script>

I don't have the game yet but I assume pitch speed 10 is the most realistic?

I believe so, the question however is does 10 pitch speed match the game's bat speed. Because if bat speed is too slow in relation to pitch speed then there'll be issues.

Started at pitchspeed 6, but moved now one notch up to pitchspeed 7. Get for now on way more good timings!

Hey guys I found that last years real life pitch speed was 9 and what I used then this year it is 7.

I hope this helps you guys out.
