Just had to post/vent this here.

I went ahead and played one and simmed 5 the remainder of my 1988 Yankees season replay. After blazing to a fantastic first half record playing every game I wanted to finish this season out so I can get my year two current Yankees season going in spring training and also start another classic season (still mulling over what year to do...1990, 1984, 1999..mmmmm)

Anyway we finished first 4 games in front of Boston. The dreaded Red Sox won their wildcard match-up and came to NY to face us in the ALDS.

Game one I took a commanding 4-0 lead into the 7th inning and then the wheels just fell off. We lost 5-4.

Game two the Red Sox pounced Al Leiter for 5 runs in the third and I scratched and clawed for 3 runs to ultimately come up short in the 9th with bases loaded and Claudel Washington flying out.

So once again....like so many times in my many years of playing The Show....I am facing elimination at the hands of the Red Sox.

The baseball gods hate me.....they really do.

Can the Yankees stage a 3 game rally? And if...if we get it back to NY for a game 5 we face The Rocket.

I'm having a issue and don't know if anyone else is seeing this. In the late inning of the game my controller starts vibrating oddly and the when I press the button to throw to a base it starts pump facking and won't stop lost last to game up 2-0 in the bottom of the ninth and lost 3-2 and was up 5-1 bottom nine and lost 6-5. Two games in a row!! Any help?

I'm having a issue and don't know if anyone else is seeing this. In the late inning of the game my controller starts vibrating oddly and the when I press the button to throw to a base it starts pump facking and won't stop lost last to game up 2-0 in the bottom of the ninth and lost 3-2 and was up 5-1 bottom nine and lost 6-5. Two games in a row!! Any help?

Pressure situations the controller will start to vibrate. I believe if you turn off controller vibration you will then negate the max effort vibration in classic pitching.

So I leave it on and am used to a vibrating controller in a pressure situation.

If anyone has another theory please share, but I think this is the case.

The 1988 Yankees were swept out courtesy of Oil Can Boyd and the Red Sox.

I will play out the post season as Oakland and try and beat those damn Red Sox again.......but the dream of WS again evades me and Don Mattingly.

Yeah....I will pick it back up come March April. I am really into NHL 13 and I am playing every game of my Blackhawks Chise. Also obsessed with Madden 25 I cant stop playing between my offline cfm, classic seasons and SOS online league. It has been 7 years since I have played Madden like this....thats how great I am finding Madden 25. Can't forget about NCAA 14 too. Both titles are a blast.

And I fired up year 2 of my MLB 13 Yankees Franchise.....playing spring training right now and getting into it heavy......i love 2K14 but a game had to get squeezed out.

Also...cant forget WWE......that game is ridiculous fun.

Once I am done with year one of NHL 13 I will resume NBA 2K14.

In the meantime.......i have decided to fire up a 1984 Royals Season Replay and I will play one sim 5 so I can get a season finished in a timely manner...then move on to Knights all time team roster 1.0 for a single season as well using the same method.

Since I am sticking with the PS3 for another couple of years( maybe longer to be honest)....I have plenty of time to play all my core sports games for a while.

I played 4 straight 82 game seasons on 2K11 so i am a tad fatigued with basketball....i am sure once the post season comes around I will get that 2K14 itch.

Went ahead and decided on a different classic season replay. Using Sterlings 1999 roster and again taking my Yankees. I must win a WS!!!

Playing 1 and sim 5. Then on to a 1984 Royals replay.

Yeah sticking with 13 for another year at least.

Hi A&S ,

I picked MLB 13 back up and Im playing a 2014 postseason with current transaction rosters and Im loving your set again but with Cpu strike Frequency at 1 do you notice overtime this lessens better pitchers as Im a very patient hitter ? Im playing with the reg Allstar version and having a blast but dont wanna wreck them as game play is so realistic but you know how scea sliders can be .

If your super patient then move it up to 2. Max would be 3.

Are you going nuts waiting for news on MLB 14 ? Im not as we know what SCEA brings to the table each year and Im exited to see what RBI 14 will be as loved the game from 1994 and we can never have enough baseball

I am very excited as always to read about what The Show 14 will bring us….both for the PS3 and 4. I am not getting a PS4 for at least another year.

I am 99% sure I will also skip 14 on PS3. RBI Baseball has me very curious but I am not picking that up regardless.

The Show 13 is my game for another year. It will be the first time since The Show 10 (never played that game) I will skip a version of the Show since the 09 version.

Glad your enjoying the sliders!! The game does truly feel organic and that is mainly because SCEA has given us such a wonderful game. So much baseball soul goes into this game every year by the dev team. I have zero concerns about the lack of news thus far……absolutely no worries at all. I am 100% confident the game is going to be first class and the first real A+ title for the PS4.

I really can't wait till The Show 15 when it should be even smoother and more fleshed out. I will miss talking about the latest version……but I will still be playing 13 with my current Yankees franchise as well as playing out various classic seasons.

I skipped 10 and never regretted it. I was able to get 2 solid years out of 2009.

I am so set with rosters on 12 and 13…..I have so many different seasons I still want to play on both games. Since I am not getting a PS4 for a while I can focus on doing just that with 13 and even going back to 12 to play a few other classic seasons.
