I read in another thread that you were pitching with Pure Analog, but these slider list Pulse as your preferred option. Can you clarify?

Re: Stealyerface's Real Game Sliders
[QUOTE=stealyerface;2044811147]I will get you the '12 version this evening, but don't bother waiting to get the game.
Just get it now.
Then play with the '13 sliders.
Take all the bugs, glitches, complaints, etc... with a grain of salt...
I have zero stuttering, I understand the third base slow down, could care less about the Guess Pitch issues, and once you play a game of '13, '12 will be a coaster for that cold, delicious beer that accompanies your new favorite game.
It is reaaaally good.
It is tough to wait, but it's what I have always done. Kind of like a sick tradition of mine. Looking for ward to what you came up with for the 12' version. Legend difficulty across the board, right?Cardinals Nation - For The Lou

Re: Stealyerface's Real Game Sliders
The clarification comes in that with ANY pitching mode you would like to use, I have the Human Accuracy at Zero, and the Human Consistancy at Zero.
Plus, I have the pitching difficulty set to Legend.
So whichever pitching mode you choose, it will be based solely on preference, as there is no moving those sliders based on one mode versus another...
Human Accuracy- 0
Human Consistency- 0
Pitching Difficulty- Legend
I like both, but have been playing Pure Analog of late. I may actually do home games with Pure Analog, and Away games with Pulse, just to force myself to mix it up.

Re: Stealyerface's Real Game Sliders
Had just a fantastic matchup with the Angels last night, as I figured I needed to show that Angels lineup a little something about the AL East.
Lackey took the ball into the 7th inning, shutting down the Hamilton-Pujols-Trout Tifecta with some very timely pitches, and some smart command of the lineup. Lackey's only blemish came on a missed push-up of the R-stick to Trout, which resulted in a few phone calls to the Boston Police Department about a fast moving UFO traveling at Mach III over Lansdowne St. (455 ft in case you were wondering)...
Pedroia homered twice and Middlebrooks added a pair of doubles to the hit total, and the Redsox win this one 4-1 with Lackey getting the Star of the Game and an interview at third base.
I am loving these sliders, and am going forward with Pure Analog for Pitching, as the games are just more interesting and nerve wracking with having to pay such close attention to what you are doing.

Re: Stealyerface's Real Game Sliders
I've been using these sliders for about 5 games and love them. The only thing I've changed is increasing pitch speed by 1. Thanks StealyComment

Hey Dew!! Glad you are enjoying the game... Increasing pitch speed is like putting some extra wasabi on fantastic sushi...

Re: Stealyerface's Real Game Sliders
HUUUUUUGE Comeback last night against the Marlins in a Spring Training game Exhibition!!!
Down to the last strike and losing 5-2 Salty goes big-fly from the left hand side with a three run jack to tie the game in the top of the ninth, and Petey hits a two run no-doubter in the tenth to take the lead 7-5.
Bailey pitches a scary bottom half of the tenth, due to two errors, but hangs on and saves it.
**Notes**
LOVING the step up to Legend for Analog Fielding, no feedback. Even grounders to shortstop are enough to get the blood pressure up late in games, as there is no easy throws on Legend.
Still having issues with throws to home being sent to second base... I think my controller might be loosening up, as it is becoming more frequent. In fact, I gave away a run where I threw out the runner with Victorino by at least 10 feet, but as soon as Salty caught the ball he did not even bother to tag runner, he just fired the ball to second base.... So, I am under the impression I am experiencing the North-South axis "snap back" effect, whereby the stick rebounds from the release, and throws the ball to the rebound base.. It never happens on the first-third throws, but I think the Analog Pitching has made the axis up and down a little sloppy.

Re: Stealyerface's Real Game Sliders
Terrific sliders, the game is very challenging but it's more up to the user's ability and decision making rather than the computer being jacked up. My first game I was the White Sox and lost 10-3 to the rangers. The reason I lost was because I had six errors and gave up three bombs. That won't win many games and all of that was on me because I made poor pitches and haven't yet mastered the fielding meter.
The variety of hits is pure bliss as I've seen bloopers, seeing eye singles, slowly hit ground balls, missiles, etc.
I read in the thread that you can use analog hitting with these sliders. Do you use the zone hitting mechanic in conjunction with analog hitting or can I use pure analog?Comment

Re: Stealyerface's Real Game Sliders
I use Zone hitting, only because I have decreased the size of the PCI and the timing window for solid hits. So the way I see it, it allows you to play with kind of a "Guess Pitch" mentality, because if you just leave the PCI in the default spot in the middle of the plate, and swing at sinkers, you will chop them into the ground, or miss completely.
The idea was to reward the hitter by having to actually decide where you thought the pitch was going to be, and moving the PCI manually, but without seeing it on the screen, you have to kind of learn how far down or up or left and right to move the Lstick to get the PCI where you want it.
I would say you could use the analog without too much trouble, but I think using it with the zone will give you a better outcome, and a more realistic result.
