Hey i wanted to ask why did you put throwing accuracy to 0?, wouldn't that cause alot of errors?

ok so now you figure that right..good so we are in the same thoughts..
anyway...oyu said youre using 6 for power right?
are you hitting HR in a decent number??
cause using 7 i couldnt hit evan with power hitter when i got locked pitches(you know when you guess right the location adn the pitch type)
now i will try something like 0/10 but i am wondering if i play with , say 3/7 i would hit more hr cause of the contact ??
and also if you agree that contact is for variety of hit why don you play with it at 0?
as 0 would mean more foul balls, ground, fly and evan blooper or choopers..any way one other thing i notice is that i have broken my bat only 2 times in about 70 games..while i see maybe one in every 2 games the ai broken his bat. do you think that the contact may influent it as i have ai contact set to 5

i set it to 0 casue i am trying to make the throw not as accurate!!i mean guys can really gun you down from deep CF on 2b, its just not realist i mean a throw like that you would see once in 50 throws..the just throw so perfectly..i am tring to higher the number of extra base hits so than i can finally make realistc results , not the 3 runs in 15 hits results i am getting..i am stuck in problem in what if i set power to 7 , 8 or 9 i will get a decent number of hits between 5 to 12 per game but almst all of them singles resulting in those kind of results(too many hits for too few runs) and if i set the power for 11 , 12 and 13 i will get a decent number of extrabase hits but i will get totally non real results like 14runs 22hits per game!!
so i am tring to find balance now..

playing at 0 doesn't feel right, i tried that and it just didn't act right. hell even at 2 i was just not getting alot of diffrent hits. I am trying 3 on contact and bout 7 on power and i haven't seen alot of home runs BUT i saw liners and bloopers( i am just doing my batting chances by fast fowarding).


hey do you get good run production in terms of stats from the AI with those sliders you have for the AI.

yeahp actully i do..my AI results are increliby real...i think is cause i CANT field like the AI...i mean they awlays make perfect cutoffs in my hits..i sometimes run after ball that goes into gaps..and than they get more extra base hits..resulting in a real box score... i am using 5 contact and 13 power(pared sliders) for the AI..but ive tried that for me and didnt work..i would get 14 runs and +20hits a game!!...maybe if you try 3 contact and 9 power??? also i do push my right stick up in every hit ...that helps lowering my number of singles a bit..and also helps a bit to incriase HR number.

the accurance throw at 0 is just for the AI i am using 5 for me..i just checked that now..
and no..the AI doesnt commit a lot of errors ..a realistc number though..most games 0 ..some games 1 and rarely 2...

also i have never played a 2 player game, but i do think that the results would be perfect as the fielding woulnd be so accurate as the AI plays(again , makins my extra base hits into singles)

one exeple m of this is that i have hited maybe a just a couple of doubles that hits the green mosnter in Fenway, like in real life happens all the time..i ve player more than 30..

i think pitch wouldnt help this problem..i am playing with 10 now..cause i find it harder to get the right timming with this speed(and also easier to read pitches meaning more walks, i get about 3 per game)..ive played with 20 , but i found out to easy to get the right timming..and would make a hit almost every time i made contact with the ball..i will try out this 3/9 tomorrow and see what happens

do you get realistic run production from the AI with your sliders for them?, or do they get 15+ hits and crap like that.

no..like i said ...i get solid results like 4runs in 5hits...evan one time i got 6runs in 4 hits!!
AI really plays well but thats like i told you is a consequence of fielding..

well hitting the ball wouldn't be a hit all the time specially if you put the power at 7 or so, you would get contact most of the times but the AI would catch it or do some amazing dive to get it. i put it at 18 cuz i hate striking out 16+ times in one game, i rather hit the ball and they catch it then them striking me out alot. even do they still get me like 7 or 9 times in a single game.

thats the problem..and i think whats making this a problem is that the AI is so damn perfect fielding..
