Is it possible for Mike Mussina to be uploaded separately in the vault?Comment

Re: Official 1995-1998 Classic Roster Project
If you want, just wait until the preview comes out and then export him to your file. It may seem petty, but I don't want to re-up individual players I didn't create myself and give off the wrong impression.I post the frog

Yeah, and although I edited his accessories and attributes to reflect the 96 season, I still don't want to "re-up" him as my own since I didn't create him.

Re: Official 1995-1998 Classic Roster Project
Sounds good. I'll finish up Minnesota tonight hopefully and then put up a small preview.
Unless some of you would prefer waiting another couple of days and getting another team or two included.
Let me know, and if I don't hear anything back I'll throw up what will probably be the first and only preview late tonight or early tomorrow.I post the frog

Re: Official 1995-1998 Classic Roster Project
I will be posting the preview later on, but I decided to do everyone a solid (myself included) and throw in the Mariners with the preview. It will definitely be worth the delay.
A part of the lineup goes A-Rod (hitting .358 and on a HR tear) Griffey, Edgar, and Buhner (44 bombs!)
Randy Johnson had a somewhat (for him) down year, but still comes in strong at an 89 with the heat and high K rating.
A-Rod, Griffey, Dan Wilson, and Buhner with his cannon arm should also make defense fun as well.
Can't wait to put the finishing touches on and use this team myself.I post the frog

Re: Official 1995-1998 Classic Roster Project
Okay, it is up in the vault under "1996 Season Preview" under my username.
It includes Baltimore, Boston, New York Yankees, Cleveland, Minnesota, California, Seattle, and Atlanta as the finished teams.I post the frog

Re: Official 1995-1998 Classic Roster Project
It's a shame that people have to down vote these rosters and players. Makes it that much harder to look for the rosters/players you really want. Nobody cares that you re-uploaded it, it's not your work! Sorry for the mini-rant.Comment

Re: Official 1995-1998 Classic Roster Project
I'd be lying if I promised you a specific date, so I can't really tell you.
What I can tell you though, is that I probably enjoy using these teams as much as (or more) than anyone else. So when the opportunities to work on them present themselves, I try to take advantage.
I'll keep you updated dude.
I just look at it like whatever. I am doing these because I personally want them, and I choose to upload them to the vault because I know other people like you guys will enjoy them too.
Let em' downvote, because at the end of the day they're still chumps.
Spoiler
Making CAPs and Rosters is like an art form for men. It's a way to recreate moments and players you respected and enjoyed growing up. We do it because we enjoy it.
People who try to steal your work and re-up it because they want vault "likes" are the real joke, desperately seeking anonymous approval because that's about all they have to be proud of in their life.

Re: Official 1995-1998 Classic Roster Project
I played my first game with the M's last night.
Angels at Mariners, day game.
Randy Johnson takes a shut out into the 9th, game is 1-0 Seattle. (Wilson solo shot)
First guy draws a walk for Cal, then a base hit. I believe it was either Jim Edmonds or Chili Davis, but one of them comes up next and hits a bases clearing double. I'm down 2-1 now and bring in Norm Charlton.
Game goes into the bottom of the 9th with the top of my order due up.
Cora gets a hit, A-Rod puts one between 3rd and SS, but Disarcina makes a great throw to get him at first. Griffey comes up and hits a liner down the 3rd base line. 3rd baseman dives for the ball and it hits off his glove (tough play) and rolls a little bit away from him, advancing Cora.
Edgar comes up and gets the sac. fly to tie it and Buhner makes an out.
I hold the Halo's the next inning and then Dan Wilson hits his second solo shot of the game off of Mike Holtz's hanging curve to give me the 3-2 win in walkoff fashion.
I absolutely loved that game.
Johnson K'd 9 in 8, A-Rod was 3-5, and Buhner got to put his arm on display a few times. Just a total blast using that team last nightLast edited by baumy300; 05-28-2014, 01:48 PM.I post the frog

Re: Official 1995-1998 Classic Roster Project
Baumy, your CAPS are just insane bro... you have an AMAZING talent to capture the likenesses of the players fo sho. You & drsublime do amazing work...props to the both of ya. I could probably help w this project as well. If you want to test my skills, give me player to create & I'll give it a go.most of my work was creating CABS in the FN Boxing series FWIW.
And I really appreciate that man, because I remember your CAPs and I know their completely legit
I will let you know, and the reason I say that is because I usually go to a team, look at the roster I posted above, and see which players are already created. Then when I find out which players I need to be created, I usually just do it and complete the team.
Let me look ahead a little and maybe start importing some players. I would love to work with you and Stormswarning on this.I post the frog

Baumy, I'll just echo what everyone here has already said - your work is fantastic. Thanks for sharing your labor of love with all of us. It's more appreciated than I can express. And that drsublime guy too, he's an artist. I'll never understand "down votes" or whatever it's called but good on you for not letting it bother you. Thanks again for all of your great work.
