But sweet at the same time, not any complaints here

alright. just curious since when i was doing ratings for V1 the RvL stats were pretty much exact other than a few obvious exceptions (i.e ortiz vs lefties) just curiosity is all. one question tho. does josh donaldson really struggle that much against rights and kill lefties that hard? also is this projection or spits from this season/career?

Yeah that's what I meant. I ask because Martin Prado is the highest rated Yankee bat at 84 compared to Ellsbury's 80 so was wondering if that messes up with the CPU draft logic but i'll test it out myself

            Donaldson

            .987 career OPS vs LHP
            .742 career OPS vs RHP

It depends. If a guy has a stable split, it doesn't matter what data you pick. If a guy is waffling year after year or has a very small sample size, we tend to look at a few years altogether.

Don't forget to "like" the roster if you like it. It helps the rating % sample grow so people who maybe have an agenda don't affect the % much with bitter/arbitrary dislikes. Of course, if you really don't like it, then use your voice as well. Rating helps people outside of our OS community tell if something is worth their time to DL or not.

                Well done..

Jackie Bradley JR actually being a 90 in CF is nice. About time he's not a 60 defensively.

These rosters are more accurate than the ratings the game comes out with..Sad a bunch of people who do this for free get it right over paid people.

I was about to ask this same question ^... I'm planning on playing a lot of the games so I'm asking about the preferred in game sliders

It's what I've been using, I remember making two minor tweaks, which of course escape me at the moment.. Ughh.
But I've been getting good results with a good amount of variety too.

Thanks! Appreciate the heads up. If you happen to remember, please let me know, so I can't try it on my sliders and see what works best for me. Thanks so much tho.

No problem. I did check. One was pitch speed. I moved it down one notch. And I moved starter stamina up one and reliever stamina down one
That's on the human sliders as far as the stamina changes.
But it's all just personal preference, see what works best for you.

Hi! Been going through the roster and noticed some things that caught my attention (nothing related to ratings don't worry)... I have a few questions about certain pitchers and they're respective pitches.

                            1) Doesn't pineda have a cutter? Which he relies on often

                            2) lincecum has a two seamer and Vulcan change... Not a splitter and sinker...

                            3) doesn't koji have a splitter? Not a fork?

                            4) doesn't greinke have a cutter?

                            5) doesn't Fernandez have a slider apart from his curve? Which I heard is the best in the game (mlb, not this game)

                            6) doesnt garret Richards have a cutter?

If any of these are true, not gonna ask for a completely new roster when these simple things can be edited individually. But would it be possible to get the attributes/numbers that go in each section for the pitches so I can edit them myself. Since you guys use your own formulas to determine each attribute, I'd like to stay true to your formulas. Thanks so much for the hard and arduous work you guys put in... I can see why you guys are so proud of your work and why you asked for our patience, so you guys could get it this amazing. Thanks so much!

This may affect a fantasy draft slightly - unfortunately it is nothing we can do or fix. The reason I put that post is many guys get hung up on the Overalls being high or low or not what they think it should be and lose enjoyment of what the roster actually does.

Here is what Overalls and Potentials should stand for.

                              95-99 - Reg All Star - HOF

                              90-94 - All Star Player

85-89 - very good regular - semi reg all star

80-84 - everyday player - very good regular

                              75-79 - platoon player - everyday player, 3,4 starter

70-74 - bench player - platoon player, 5 starter, middle reliever

                              65-69 - AAA - AAAA players

In many cases you are correct, but a similar pitch was used to simulate the proper movement of the pitch in the game. Happens most with 2 seams and sinkers and cutters and sliders
