If you are going to move Starlin to LF just trade him. You are sucking up most of his value by putting him in LF. I know the Cubs need to do something to get everyone in the lineup, but Bryant in LF and Castro at 3B makes a lot more sense. Even in that case, I would trade Castro before putting him at 3B, because he would be an average 3B, compared to a far above average SS offensively.

Re: 2015 Chicago Cubs
Sure, I could see that. The Cubs could do a lot of different things, but it probably won't be this year, because Russell and Baez have to prove something before they are going to trade Castro. I think they will have better options a year from now than paying for Hamels age 32-34 seasons, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if it happened.Comment

I could see that being true in real life, but in my franchise, Castro will be either my 3B or my LF with Bryant playing the other.Comment

What's a good pitching motion for Hammel?
Actually if someone would be so kind as to run down the pitching motions you're using for all the pitchers on the Cubs' MLB roster I would really be grateful.Colts fan

Re: 2015 Chicago Cubs
Soler's at the dish. Just sending my post from the v1 corrections, below this paragraph is all copy paste. I had a long discussion with my brother, a cards fan, over whether or not Soler should be rated better than Rizzo. At the time I had just finished editing Mr. Soler and he was 1 point higher the previously worked on Anthony... We ended up agreeing one of the two was still underrated. To find out which one check out my roster. (im only posting on this thread cus as cub fans i feel like we'd all appreciate my rosters the most, as I spent a lot of time fixing the Redbirds and Cub farm system)
For those who dont wanna sit on their hands until the hybrid, worry not...
MY OSFM HYBRIDIZATION IS COMPLETE!
First time sharer, long time editor and talent evaluator. I decided to post my roster set this year. It took 2 days and featured an accidental overwrite of a nearly completed file, but it is done. The Roster set is designed for Franchise mode. I never control more than 1-2 teams so I have to make a roster set that I can trust the computer to manage. A lot of my work was done to bullpens and rotations to help make certain the computer wouldnt mess everything up once spring training ended. Example: Kevin Gregg and Jumbo Diaz were bumped up to low 70s in order to keep them on the roster.
The same thing was done for starting rotations and position players (ie Jose Ramirez and Chris Owings are rated higher than Aaron hill and mike aviles in my rosters) I also made some edits to players who i felt were unjustly rated or rated too high. Also converted Jason Werth to LF, swapped Granderson and Cuddyer to their correct positions, and moved around the Rays OF as well.
The set features an extensive edit of SCEA rosters. Heres a handful of examples of well known players who saw ratings boosts: Yordano Ventura, Brock Holt, Bluejays Castro, Familia, Votto, King Felix, Stanton, Soler, Yadi, G Polanco, Pujols, J. Upton, A. Simmons, Abreu. Again I edited every team extensively, not just big names.
I also did a few edits to OSFMs release, some of the corrections that were requested on this thread included. A lot of it was just tempering overconfident ratings for unproven prospects. Part of that is to slow their path to the majors for a more realistic experience. Here are a few more examples: I lowered the Power for Gallo/Bryant, the K ratings for cards relief (and fixed the guys who were too young), and lowered some of the potentials in Cleveland, and the overalls of Sano/Buxton. I also converted Robert Osuna to starter, thats what he will be eventually.
Anyway I hope you guys download it, its saved under my psn username Picards__Flute. I didnt import any players besides the se7en guys Jung Ho Kang, so if your a Braves fan wishing Lucas Sims was there, or a bluejays guy who loves DJ Davis, i suggest finding them in another set and importing to my roster. Thats what I am going to do eventually.
My rosters are only as strong as the foundation provided by Mills and OSFM creators. Thanks again everybody and happy Jackie Robinson Day!Comment

Re: 2015 Chicago Cubs
By "fixing the Redbirds and Cubs farm system" i meant adjusting them to fit a 1-2 team control the franchise mode environment. only cubs minors guys i really changed much were Schwarber, Vogelbomb, Gleyber, and Eloy...Comment

I'm not downloading your roster just to find out who you think is better out of Rizzo/Soler. Nice salesman pitch though.Comment

Re: 2015 Chicago Cubs
Cubs Extra Prospects Pack 1 should be up within the next few hours under MrOldboy. Wrapping up a few more guys. Faces done by ItsAllFades although he didn't get a second edit on them so they may not be as good as the OSFM versions. I'll post up a list of players once it is up.
edit: Okay roster is up as Cubs OSFM Extra Pack
These obviously didn't get the love that the main OSFM prospects got, although some were submitted but not included in the OSFM v1 release like Kevonte Mitchell and Mark Zagunis. Ratings are pretty conservative I feel and when provided I used the hybrid teams ratings. This is to try and fit these in with the official OSFM or eventual Hybrid OSFM rosters which I assume you guys are using. Just export/import prospects you want from this roster. I'd recommend trying to replace similar/exact positions as the OSFM roster was designed to be a balanced system.
If there are any mistakes you notice make sure to post them so others can correct when they download. These were mostly done late at night after work so I bet someone's age is off or some other mistake like a pitcher missing a curve or something. I can reupload it with corrections if necessary.
