Got my copy earlier today, importing last year's players went without a hitch.
Awesome, was not expecting to get anything for Erasmo.Bakin' soda, I got bakin' sodaComment

Re: Mariners OSFM Episode XV: Return of the Mediocre Farm System
How long do you think it will be before your part of the roster is released? I would kill to have that M's roster so I could get going on a franchise, could care less about other teams' prospects for the most part.
I'm also willing to get involved if you need anyone else to work on it.
I'd say within the next couple of days, I took the whole week off so I have ample time.Bakin' soda, I got bakin' sodaComment

Re: Mariners OSFM Episode XV: Return of the Mediocre Farm System
99.9% of the ratings, equipment, and stances are done, holding out on the last 1-2 players in case there are more cuts. I saw reports of Guti and Joe Saunders re-signing to minor league deals, but looking at the minor league transactions I see Saunders' status as released and no update on Guti. In the meantime, the transactions page has all of the recent moves (Beimel, Leone down and Smith up). I hate recreating service time guys, so I'm leaving those to the last minute.
I'm going to run some sims and post the results. A lot of the talent is in the low minors, so there tons of low 60's/high 50's rated players.
Here is the final potential tally:
A: 0
B: 7 (88, 84(2), 83, 82(3), 81)
C: 26 (79(2), 78, 76(2), 75(4), 74(3), 73(3), 72(5), 71, 70(5))
D: 16
Just like in real life, there is a good amount of C depth.Last edited by seanjeezy; 04-04-2015, 04:56 AM.Bakin' soda, I got bakin' sodaComment

Re: Mariners OSFM Episode XV: Return of the Mediocre Farm System
Alright, 2 years in and the MLB ETA tracks look pretty good. I've been testing with auto training and I've always found that logic to be a little wonky, so some guys will probably be higher/lower with manual training. I like the stats-influenced progression, the gains/losses aren't uniform like in the past.Bakin' soda, I got bakin' sodaComment

Re: Mariners OSFM Episode XV: Return of the Mediocre Farm System
Im new to this, and maybe i missed these guys on the thread- but is Edgar Oleos going to be included? he's currently on the 15 day DL. He's got great potential and a mid 90s fastball. He also has long hair now like Big Time Timmy Jim. I just got back from Spring Training and every time i saw the guy in all 5 days he was signing autographs or taking pictures with kids. Totally humble. Also, Bonilla? He played in almost every ST game towards the end. And Burt Reynolds? Because...well...its Turd Ferguson.Comment

Reynolds will likely be in A+ again, so he would be taking up a valuable roster spot.
If only we could put guys on the DL outside of franchise... I have 5-6 guys I would've loved to include but couldn't because of DL playersBakin' soda, I got bakin' sodaComment

Re: Mariners OSFM Episode XV: Return of the Mediocre Farm System
Gabby Guerrero has a wide range of outcomes because there is so much uncertainty with his approach and whether or not it will allow his power to play in games. I settled at 82 but I could have chose anything between a 78 and an 84.
DJ is projected to be around .270 with 25-30 HRs with below average defense. Can't really justify making him higher than what he already is (84).
Jackson is a victim of limited reps. Its hard to hand out an A grade unless the player is an absolute world beater, but Jackson can definitely be in the A range with a strong showing this year. The game simulates that process with the stock is rising emails.
The guys I'm most bullish on are Austin Wilson (83) and Luiz Gohara (84). I think Wilson will be a star if he stays healthy, and Gohara has #2/strong #3 upside. I actually had Wilson above DJ for the longest time, but I'll let the game take care of that.Bakin' soda, I got bakin' sodaComment

Hi, I was wondering when "beta" version of your roster was going to released. I am pretty sure I saw you mention it earlier but I can't seem to find it now. Thanks!HEAT MARINERS STEELERSComment
