I saw this morning on sports center, is he really trying out for the rangers or is this a publicity stunt?

He was drafted in the 4th round by the Rockies and played two seasons of A ball before went back to football. He was drafted rule 5 by the Rangers and he went to spring training last year too. He's not going to give up football anytime soon but he's a legit baseball player.

Alright can confirm guys in bold are missing from the game. So unless they add them with the Launch Day Roster update (3/31) They'll need to be created. Some of these guys shouldn't be missing since they still accumulated service time last season and should still be a part of the MLBPA, but for whatever reason as of now they aren't in MLB 15.

Yeah! I hope the Rangers guys find a way to sneak Russ into the roster. Id love to see what one of the expert face creator guys can do with a Russell cap

Sorry Seahawks fans, but I seriously doubt Russell Wilson will be included. Your best bet is to ask a CAP maker to do a Russell Wilson and then you can import him into your version of the roster. It wouldn't be right to take a spot from a legitimate minor leaguer in the Rangers system to add a guy just because he's popular in the Pac NW.

It wouldn't be right to take a spot from a legitimate minor leaguer in the Rangers system to add a guy just because he's popular in the Pac NW.

You couldn't even hide him in A ball? Its sim in the sense that it represents Texas holding his rights.

Didn't we go over this last year when he was drafted by Texas? I would only put him in if he actually played in a game.

This year he's actually playing a spring training game, last year he just practiced.

Update on the royals:

I have all the edits to the WIP roster done other than equip (which I'll wait to do in 15).

I'll need to create 3-5 (depending on final cuts) prospects that weren't in the WIP file. I'll also need to create 3-5 guys that were un-editable SCEA guys in the WIP file (Ryan Roberts, for example). For both of these I'll be waiting to do on 15, since I'll have to do equip edits there anyway.

So much faster this year!


On another note, the royals traded Angel Baez to Hou today. I have him done already, so I'll just let you know where I store all my extra guys when I upload the roster. No need for whomever is doing HOU to create him.

Oh, and to the guy who asked about Starling, he won't be in AAA. He MIGHT be in AA, but the will likely come down to space (talking in real life as well as the roster). Omaha OF is crowded with Adams, Eibner, Fuentes, Orlando/Sierra, Merrifield. That doesn't even account for Brian Fletcher. AA likely to have Chapman, Bianucci, Jacobs, Jose Martinez...and then maybe Starling or possibly a guy like Daniel Rockett.

Yes he did. He's already in MLB 15. Royals released him today anyways.

Using the WIP roster I have pretty much updated all the Pirates (besides equipment and stances/motions)
Willard do you have Liz, Richard, Volsad, and Hernandez done with correct service time? If not I can do that. I already created RP A. Caminero and C Willing Castillo with exact service time and very close career stats, just need our face guys do the faces.

Remember, if a guy that needs service time is likely to make his club then he will be taken from the roster update since it will include the exact career stats.
