Re: OSFM & Hybrid 2015-Guidelines/Plans(Roster makers)

    Ahem,

This just seems like the right time to say this. As a longtime fan of the Operation Sports Full Minors Roster, being a full-time contributor this year was quite the experience. Given, we still have some work to do before release but it has been a good experience with the opportunity to work with many like minded individuals that love the Authenticity of Realistic rosters. Just to name a few of the of the people I had the pleasure of working with:
    Redsfan
    Willard
    Ridin'
    Sink4Ever
    Jermarrs
Sorry to those that I left out, but there were more than a few others.
I encourage many of you that did not have a chance to partake in the action for V1, to help out with V2 or Next season.

Thanks again everyone & it has been a pleasure!

I understand what your implying. I just hope i dont see majority AA prospect rated in high 60's.I can adjust the rating after it's release or just wait for the hybrid release. Thanks for everybody who work on this osfm project.

Is this the format guys are using for this years? Granted my roster had been updated all the way through spring training so it was pretty accurate, but for the little work it took me I can have all the minors for all the teams that were done last year. All the hard work last year by the guys who did the rosters have my roster pretty well set this year. Any updated ratings edits would need done still but at least this gives people a roster with full minors this year to play with instead of bugging the people working on this years. BTW... I had a roster with Y. Thomas, Moncada, Oliviera. Just a thought for everyone wanting the roster to be done...

There are a ton of reworks in the OSFM that weren't covered by our WIP roster. The new editor took things to a new level.

In the past I usually just used the OD base roster for the year. But this year, with the Hybrid being released on the heels of the OD, I might use that. My question is, do you guys(who work on the Hybrid)go back and re-edit the guys created for the OS roster or just the SECA guys?(I would imagine you dontneed to-but thought it wouldnt hurt to ask).

Thanks again for all the amazing work fellas.

OSFM ratings will be same as Hybrid.

Our general rule is a guy in AA will be low 60s, high 50s unless a player is on a roster level lower then he maybe should be

Potential problems can arise with this. Teams don't have their 25 best (highest rated) players in MLB then next 25 in AAA and so on. I think putting a ratings cap on a player because of the level he's playing at isn't the best way to do things. Minor league players have MLB skills, just not enough of them. I just think players should be rated accordingly, not made to fit into a box.

Silly question but with the contract editing and stuff are we able to use these with the salary caps on? I'm assuming you guys have already figured out a way to scale the contracts. Might have been mentioned already. Thanks in advance

In general, most players at the same level will be rated fairly closely, but it won't be like that all the time.

Lol do whatever you like..... As long as the team makers followed the work sheet all ratings of prospects will be just like the hybrid

Glad to see an ETA(the "E" being the key letter in there)

These are going to be current as of opeing day correct? No transactions that transpire between now and release will be reflected.

Since it seems you have problems with your eyes- HYBRID EDITS THE SCEA CREATED PLAYERS BUT THE OSFM V1 WILL NOT

I'm not even making these rosters but damn this is getting annoying.

Now it may be Saturday or it may be Sunday depending on how things shake out but thats the plan. Remember this will be V1 so there will be corrections for V2 . Hybrid will begin work as soon as this file is completed and hope to have out within a few days of us. We will keep you guys updated.

Wait, so my initial prediction of a next week release that got shot down a few days back was actually correct!

                              I EXPECT AN APOLOGY.

Haha I'm obviously kidding. Again, I'm off tomorrow. If anyone needs help with equipment edits, I'll knock a team or two out in one sitting.

                              Help me help you.

So the OSFM v1 makes the players form scratch that where not in the game before a roster update?

Nice the game has only been out a week has of tomorrow so if you do get them by Sunday that would be just under 2 weeks not bad. So will V1 be open day correct? Or will we have to want for version 2 for that. How long dose it normal take to go form say version 1 to version 2 ect?
